Great neighborhood, large house, convenient commute to slopes

Upscale neighborhood with pride of ownership homes in the Castle Glen Estates. We loved short commute to groceries and slopes and the fact that there is plenty of room inside. The owner /pm co can do a better job with stocking the kitchen with spices/coffee and most importantly some dishwasher detergent (we got one cube for 3 day stay) but it’s relatively small drawback compare to the amazing view, convenient location and spacious quarters.

xmas 2018 surprised my fam for white xmas to expensive tv out of date couldn't connect DVD player wifi was a day late fridge was a day late for use too. spider webs and spiders all over. pans for kitchen old beautiful view but not for a stay in for a cold family night cause the tv is small n out dated

Location was great, home was nice furnishings and communication with property managers not so great.

Our stay started off on a poor note. The communication with the property manager was poor. Seemed to be automated messages not a human. They wanted us to stop in the office instead of going right to the location to double check my IID. This was strange since I have booked with VRBO numerous r times but they insisted it was “policy”. The location is Greta but furniture is old and outdated. Couch was dirty, beds were hard, sheets and blankets old and uncomfortable. They also do not have trash receptacles on site and you need to remove your own trash so be ware of that.

The property was well maintained and beautiful . Most amazing view

Very spacious the pics don't do it's justice . The mattereses were very firm and hard to sleep on. The place is well kept and maintained minus a few flaws . Spider webs on the ceiling but nothing major and outside some of the light bulbs were out . I had to go purchase bulbs myself because I couldn't BBQ in the dark. I wish the garage was opened and available but it was locked per the owners request we had a hard time unloading everything in the snow specially with 3 little kids . They had stocked up the house well silverware pots and pans etc . The only reason I gave it a 4 star was for the price I paid I expected more than just a spacious home with a good view . Some technological upgrades are missing . But strong wifi . But practically no backyard to play . Also the driveway was not shoveled and cleared after a major snow storm

There is No Street Parking Allowed in Big Bear- Make Every Attempt to Get Cars Off the Street for Snowplows. November thru April the law requires snow chains in your cars.

Pets must be acknowledged and may not be left unattended in the home. Owners must clean up after pets; subject to added cleaning fees for violations.

All homes include clean linens, and fresh bath towels for the occupancy. A kitchen with basic cookware and small starter amount of dish soap, toilet paper, and trash bags will be supplied. Paper towels, coffee filters/coffee, specialty appliances, nor condiments/spices/oils are supplied.

No Pay-Per-View Ordering in any homes.

No refunds/credits for cancellations or trip interruptions due to acts of nature, (especially snow, fire, power outages) weather, road conditions, mechanical or electrical failures, spa malfunctions, or other equipment factors beyond our control.

This is a forested mountain community home to critters- animals or insects you may encounter are spiders, moths, flies, squirrels, gophers, bears, coyotes, burro, bear, bats, etc. Our team inspects prior to arrival but cannot guarantee the home will be free of these forest critters.

We reserve the right to offer a comparable property or issue a full refund if circumstances arise that are beyond our control and your property is made unavailable for any reason.
