Fantastic remodeled condo with large furnished balcony over looking beautiful Lake Travis. Granite countertops in Kitchen and both baths, stainless steel kitchen. Only three doors down from the spa/fitness center. Balcony faces the north, with a gorgeous view of the fountain and lake. Unit also has individual private wifi.

Welcome to The Island On Lake Travis, an elegant condo complex that offers luxurious Lake Travis waterfront accommodations located on a 14-acre island. This gated resort offers condos for rent whether it be long or short term. A very unique aspect about our property is each condo is done to individual owners taste.
The Island on Lake Travis is the perfect spot to enjoy a relaxing romantic escape, and enjoy wildlife and breathtaking sunset views over the lake.
There are plenty of local attractions to explore to keep you busy if you are looking for something fun and exciting to do. Take a day trip to Marble Falls or Fredericksburg, check out one of the 18 hole golf courses nearby, or enjoy a wine tasting at a Flat Creek Winery!
When you rent from Island Rentals, you can expect top-notch customer service, and dedication to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Each of our condo's come with a fully equipped kitchen and linens for the bedrooms and baths. Covered Parking is on ground level with reserved parking, and additional "guest" spaces as well. There are 5 elevators on property.
We provide our guests with check in information prior to their arrival, which will include the front gate code, assigned parking spaces, directions to the condo and door code for added convenience. (Front Desk Check In is not required, and allows guests to arrive and access condo late at night if necessary).

Very nice property. Nice size, clean, everything was provided in the kitchen. 2 nice pools. Tennis courts, pickleball, basketball, and grills on the property.

We enjoyed the location in the resort and the condo was very comfortable.

Everything was clean and we had a relaxing stay. But do not rely on the restaurant on site, it was so crowded that we went elsewhere. At least the hostess was honest with us and recommended we not stay!! Overall a great weekend!

Lago Vista Stay July 25 - July 30 2021

Although we loved the condo layout (spacious, great furnishings, inviting decor) and the beautiful balcony view, there were serious problems. The entry way was dirty, full of cobwebs, and the light was out, leading us to have to use our cell phone light to key in the code at night. The floors were filthy, swept up a pile of dirt then washed the floor. The wash water was black when we finished. There was black mold around the bottom of the shower in both bathrooms. The patio tables still had crumbs on them indicating they had not been washed. Although there were about a dozen sponges under the sink, they all were extremely used. When I got out a fry pan it was dirty, tried to clean it with one of the better sponges which literally fell apart as I used it. The dryer lent catcher had about an inch of lent collected in it. The air conditioner lent filter was filthy. It was extremely evident that housekeeping had not been in to do their job.

The Perfect Getaway

We were looking for a place where we could just take a break from all the hustle and bustle in the city and this turned out to be the best decision made. Our property manager (Mr Cam) was awesome and I appreciate his prompt response whenever I communicated with him. I can’t forget about Ms Heather in the gift shop, the great energy she gave off made us feel right at home. The neighbors were very friendly and the scenery was immaculate!!! We’re definitely considering coming back!!!

Great Lakefront Condo

The property is really nice with plenty of amenities. Master bedroom has huge bathroom and a door that leads out to balcony. Secondary bedroom faces the courtyard and since there are only blinds with no curtains a lot of light comes into the room at night, which for me is not good, but you do want the outdoor areas well lit at night. Kitchen is fully stocked with plenty of dishes; cookware is a little worn out which is to be expected with short term rentals. Overall a beautiful place to spend a weekend or a week, you can’t beat the view.

We loved the unit we stayed in this year. The unit was really well equipped with kitchen items. I do enjoy cooking so it was a pleasure to have what I needed at my fingertips. One issue... the king bed frame is larger bedroom. I kept walking into it. The edges on both sides of the bed stick out just enough to catch your body. Ouch.... Love having the pools in good shape both in and out. Also the grounds are being kept up and the place is looking well manicured. The lake view is always a bonus but with the island being an island again... it's great. Dealing with Northshore has been excellent. We look forward to our next stay in 2019. Thank you

Great vacation island for all ages

We spent our Easter weekend with our grown up kids and grandkids at the Island on Lake Travis and enjoyed every moment with a great view , nice pool area, hot tubs, on site restaurant. Great location. We will be back!

Great property! I will be returning with my kiddos.

Overall experience was great. The view was fantastic. Plenty of room for everyone. I would like to advise though this condo does not sleep 6. It only sleeps 4 comfortably until the sleeper sofa mattress is replaced. The mattress on the sleeper sofa is not suitable for anyone or thing to sleep on. I had to go out and get an air mattress for one of my kids to sleep on because of the horrible condition of the mattress. I will definitely return to this place once it comfortably sleeps 5 or 6 though. Quiet part of the lake Travis area with lots of access to a variety of entertainment.
