The property was very nice. It was in a great location. The only issue that gave it four stars was the lack of air conditioning. Normally I'm sure this would not be an issue, but we were there during an unusually hot period time and it was pretty uncomfortable.

The house was decorated nicely and the kitchen was well supplied with pots , pans , dishes etc . We enjoyed the nice deck . However the living room and kitchen were very uncomfortable due to the heat . It got up to 89 degrees inside ! There is only one window in this area to open . This house needs air conditioning if you are going to stay during the heat of the summer .

We enjoyed this place so much for our first time in Colorado it was just as described and the neighbor was very kind to help us with ideas and places to eat. We would definitely stay there again if in the area

No AC. Didn't notice that when booking so I don't think it was very prominent in the booking. Not many windows that open either. Luckily it was only in the high 70s when here. Definitely wouldn't stay in the height of summer. However it was a good location. The views are perfect! Loved the covered deck.There were games. We didn't use them but there were several options. The TV wouldn't raise out of the stand. Called and nobody came. Not that we wanted to watch a lot of TV but we did want to watch the volleyball game and couldn't.

The freezer was leaking. No balls for the ping pong and the darts were messed up. The cabinets were broken. And it would be helpful to communicate to open all doors to move the air through the house. The beds were not comfortable and were loud. No storage to unpack our stuff. The kitchen lay out was nice. And the kitchen was very functional and stocked well. We enjoyed our stay this time. And we would stay somewhere else next time. The neighborhood was really quiet we felt safe & was nice for walking. Thank you.

Great lodging near nature

This house was perfect for our stay in the mountains and allowed for very easy access to both the main area of the town and the Rocky National Park entrance. During the peak heat of the day the house was quite hot, but sitting outside on the deck was perfect for my family and very relaxing.

Perfect home with a view

This home had everything my family of five needed and in a nice, clean condition. The ping pong table was a big hit with the kids. But our favorite part was watching the elk and mule deer in the yards.

Outstanding experience

I had high expectations for this location and it did not disappoint. It's perfectly located between downtown Estes Park and the Bear Lake entrance to RMNP. Four adults and three kids stayed comfortable (two queen beds and one king) and the views were gorgeous. Very clean, user friendly, they had a ping pong table, and took care of all the small details with great communication. I've stayed in Estes a dozen times and now have a new favorite place.

Great location right between Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park, ideal spot between both main attractions. Having the third bedroom was great so that everyone got their own room and we could all get a good night's sleep. One thing I would note is that the only way to get between floors is a spiral staircase which is super steep. It was fine for us and the kids loved it, but it could be challenging for anyone with mobility issues.

Overall the stay was very pleasant. We did see several small spiders throughout the stay, and the bed sheets needed to be washed before we could sleep on them. It is very clear on the listing description that the house does not have A/C, however, the house got very warm (early September stay) and had a hard time cooling down in the evenings compared to other properties we have stayed at with no A/C in the same area. Property was very conveniently located
