This place was exactly what my family was needing for a get away. Great location to get to several activities and restaurants, beautiful views, lots of activities on site, very clean and accommodating location, great house set up with amenities, and the host was very responsive and kind. My family loved this trip and we will be back.

A beautiful lake house with lots of space to spread out. Close to hiking and of course the water and hot tub were wonderful even in November.

Relaxing Lake House with Great Amenities

Leslee was a very responsive host. The property was well-stocked and very clean with lots of amenities. The beds were extremely comfortable and the towels were nice and plush - perfect for drying off after a relaxing soak in the hot tub!We would definitely love to stay there again.

The property has all what a family vacation needs. It is Big, clean, lake front, cozy and safe.Teens enjoyed the lakefront activities and in-house amenities too. Wonderful stay on Lake of Egypt

House was perfect for our family of 5 plus grandparents. Easily could have accommodated more! House was extremely well stocked and had everything we needed. Great layout and outdoor space was incredible. Lake access was a breeze with the beautiful, large dock and beach area. Would love to visit this property in the summer!

Amazing Property

Amazing home in a beautiful part of Southern Illinois. The home was well stocked, especially the kitchen! Loved the fire pits on the back porch and the dock for fishing. Close to hiking and wineries.

Solar Eclipse Adventure!

The house rental process was easy, communication with the owner was excellent, location was perfect; all the kitchen essentials were available … as we prefer to prepare meals rather than going out to eat. There are numerous State Parks nearby to explore. All in all… a very comfortable and pleasant four days.

Fabulous!

Pictures on the posting don’t do this place justice! It’s gorgeous and huge! Plenty of room for two families with 5 teens plus some. Super clean and cozy. Felt like being at home!

We LOVED our stay at this property. The house is beautiful and wonderfully relaxing. So well stocked, plenty of places to sit and hang out with large groups, lots of bedrooms. Having all the lake toys available is a major plus with kids! Owner communication and thoughtfulness is fantastic, they go above and beyond to make it a very nice stay. Our family of 15 stayed three nights and are planning to come back next year. If you stay I would recommend packing some sleep masks if you’re like me and sunlight coming through the windows wakes you, and the drive to anywhere else from here is long so pack everything you need I did have a successful Instacart delivery from Target in Marion though when my daughter forgot her swimsuit! Thank you for hosting us!

Great family vacation home

This house was amazing. Loved the outdoor living areas. Which is where we spent most of our time. Plenty of room inside and out for our entire family. 8 adults and 4 small children. Cooked on the flat stone for supper and breakfast. The dock was very nice with lots of amenities. But there wasn’t enough sitting area out of the sun. But it was very hot, near 100 degrees every day. The swimming area was so nice. The toddlers loved playing in the sand area. We also brought a pontoon boat which we tied to the side of the dock. The lake was so nice. Would go there again.
