PAUL was very responsive and helpful to get us a last-minute booking. The place is beautiful. The view is phenomenal. The restaurant on site is fantastic. Very gourmet. Would definitely book again with PAUL.
Beautiful spot amazing views daily. Snorkeling right off the beach. Bar, restaurant, coffee shop right there. Minutes to Red Hook. Rent a car. You don’t need a Jeep. Would stay right here again!
This unit at Sapphire Beach is the perfect view. We saw several weddings from our own balcony, enjoyed the sunsets and sunrises there too, loved having an upstairs and downstairs balcony. This unit was equipped with everything you possibly need including beach chairs and ice chest on rollers which made our trip a breeze. The unit was very clean and the host Mr. Paul answered all of my before trip and during trip questions within a ten minute time frame! This condo is very quiet also. Very nice and relaxing. We have already planned our trip back and plan to stay in the very same unit due to the view and hosts being great.
Owners were very responsive when asking questions prior to booking. Booked and once onsite everything was as expected. Clean room, great views and great location. I’d recommend to anyone looking for the beach view and comfortable room. Looking forward to our next trip and hopefully the room will be available.
We had a few issues accessing the condo but owner reaolved these relatively swiftly & gifted us a dinner out as an apology which was VERY kind of him. Otherwise the condo was perfect for us!
The unit was very clean and well furnished, All the furniture and appliances looked new. The bed was very comfortable. The outdoor furniture on both balconies was very comfortable and a perfect place to take in the views of Sapphire Beach. The facility was conveniently located close to the Red Hook area which gives you nearby access to restaurants and grocery stores. We couldn't have asked for a better place for a getaway. We would definitely stay here again.
We absolutely loved our stay at Sapphire Beach. The location is just amazing, views from the 2 balconies are perfect. The beach was awesome and was never crowded directly in front of the building. Most cruise ship folks seemed to stay further down the beach. Finding a spot was simple and we just tipped the chair attendant 2 each day and we left our towels there during the hottest times and returned later in the day. The attendant even knocked down a few guavas from the trees for us. The furniture and other things in the unit were well-loved in some cases as they get a lot of use. But wasn't too bad. There were a couple of odd layout items - no outlet where the coffee maker was, weird position of the tv in the bedroom, etc. Nothing too problematic. We found the downstairs full bath a bit nicer and spacious and used that primarily. There are 4 restaurants / bars at the beach and we usually ate there. We didn't rent a car, but probably would recommend if you stay more than 3-4 days as taxis downtown will cost about 50-60 round trip. Red Hook is very close and has groceries and more restaurants, but isn't really walkable due to the winding and narrow roads with no sidewalks to get there. Taxi round trip there is about 25. Our host Paul was great with good communication up front. And, he answered the phone immediately when we had a problem with the electronic lock and couldn't get back in (probably user error in hindsight).
Truthfully we went into this not knowing what to expect… sometimes pictures are nicer than units, sometimes communication is tricky… but I will say this.If you go to St. Thomas… book this unit! Wow is really the summary I have! On the beach, entertainment and food close, kitchen if you want to cook vs eat out (like we did mostly)We will be back and I just can’t say enough positive things about this unit and this whole experience! What a honeymoon for us! Thank you
Beautiful view and no issues with home. Check information on when cruises dock since Sapphire Beach is a drop off for cruise guests. Fortunately locals provided information that allowed us to explore other beaches that were more exclusive and further away from the masses of cruise ship tourists.
The location is terrific. It is just a few steps down to the beach. The views from both the living room and master bedroom decks are wonderful. The updates that have been completed for the kitchen and living areas are very nice. This is a perfect place for a couple. There are lots of other nearby beaches and snorkeling spots if you want to break it up. Red Hook and the ferry to St. John's is less than a mile away too. I would stay here again for sure.
