Very comfortable and family friendly stay. Having the two bathrooms was very helpful for a family with multiple kids. The beds were comfortable and communication with the host was great. We felt comfortable and safe during our stay the entire time (as a mom sometimes I get nervous about unknown neighborhoods). Easy to get around the city. If we ever visit Abilene again we would definitely look to rebook. Thank you!
Btw - there was no winery experience but it wouldn’t let me leave a review without adding the starsLocation is just a couple of blocks from downtown and the court house. Neighborhood was very quiet. Check in was easy and the host was very accommodating. It’s an older house but that adds to the quaint atmosphere. Very clean and well decorated.
The grass is overrun. The house has an odor. The floors were dirty. The carpets and furniture had an odor

This property has delayed maintenance issues. The living room furniture is stained and saggy. The hall bath has an uncovered plug just under the toilet paper holder and the shower could use better cleaning for mold. Our biggest complaint is the very squeaky floor in the bedroom with the king bed. It was loud enough to wake my partner every time someone walked across the floor. On the positive side, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen was clean and well appointed.

The location was fantastic for the wedding we attended at D&W underground. The photos and descriptions were moderately inaccurate. The property lacked cleanliness, the flooring throughout the entire home was extremely loud & creaky. It was communicated after check in that the floors in the master bedroom were creaky and there would be someone coming to fix it after our visit. ALL of the floors in every room were extremely loud & it made it hard to move around the house without waking the other guests. The doors to all of the bedrooms and bathroom were also very loud, had to be slammed shut, or didn’t slide closed at all. The TV didn’t work at all, the backyard did have a “fire pit” but the seating was minimal, the yard was dirty & full of toys, balls & trash. It lacked a feeling of safety & cleanliness. The host was responsive and helpful, but that doesn’t change the actual property itself. There was a roach found in the kitchen (alive) Unfortunately I would not book again for these reasons.
Everything was fine. I did ask the host if there was an iron and ironboard on premises and he said he would get back to me. No response. We eventually found one after going thru all the closets and it was in the master Bedroom closet. Other then that, we didn't need anything else
