Husband and I really enjoyed our weekend stay at Bear run. This little house was perfect for a couple. Quiet, great location and very very clean. Walking distance to town ! We will definitely stay here again!
We loved the property! Close to everything, walkable to downtown and loved the hot tub facing the river. Home was clean, well equipped and private. Highly recommend
This place was great for a couples getaway. The hot tub was very nice! The property is very close to town and right on the water. The only thing that was a minor issue is the thermostat is hard to control. Overall it is a great place to stay.
The tiny home was a great and fun experience. The overall layout was well planned out and fit our family of 4 perfectly. The hot tub and back porch were very relaxing and enjoyable. The only negative was the cleanliness. Our socks were dirty just walking on the floors and there were cobwebs all over inside and out.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in
Disliked: Communication
Looks can be deceiving
The cabin was small but nice. Short drive to train station. But the beds are terrible. You are either freezing cold downstairs, and unbearable hot in the loft. The electric fireplace didnt work, and they have speakers blasting Christmas music all night long for some reason. It ruined my whole family's night sleeps, and the owners didnt seem to care much about it when i told them. We wi never boom here again.

Thank you for your feedback. We are glad you enjoyed the cozy cabin setup and our convenient location near the train station, but we are deeply sorry for the frustrating experience you had with the heating, fireplace, and ambient music during your stay.
Getting a good night’s sleep is essential, and we apologize for missing the mark. Following your feedback, we had our HVAC system inspected to ensure balanced airflow between the main floor and the loft. We also repaired the electric fireplace, and we addressed the exterior speaker schedule with the local property management so it turns off early and no longer disrupts quiet hours.
We take guest comfort very seriously, and we regret that our communication at the time did not reflect the care and urgency we strive to provide. We appreciate you bringing these items to our attention, as your review directly helped us fix these issues for all future guests.
