Private, clean (very!), well stocked, and a perfect quiet getaway from the noise of the city while still being close to the mountain towns and trails. Watch out for the neighbors dog who likes to chase cars and at one point sat (not stood) in the middle of the road as we climbed the gravel hill. If you don't have 4 wheel drive or all wheel and have to stop for the dogs safety like we did, you're likely going to get stuck. Best to back down very slowly and start the climb again. Once we engaged 4 wheel, all was well.
This location was perfect for a couples weekend away! It felt very clean, safe and very cozy!!!!!
We would stay here again! It was a beautiful home that included everything we needed.
The cabin was easy to get to, secluded and 20 minutes from East Ellijay. Had everything we needed to celebrate our anniversary.

Great secluded house
The house was very clean and the kitchen was very well stocked. We enjoyed bringing our dog. Hot tub and fire pit were great as well. We highly recommend this house for a wonderful getaway!
This property is well maintained, comfortable, and private. The kitchen had everything we needed for a week-long stay. The hot tub was a great way to relax in the evenings. The owner is responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!
Just a slice of heaven. Secluded and beautiful. Amazing and breathtaking. Close enough to town but just far enough away from everyone to disconnect and breathe.
I literally do not have one complaint about this cabin! Everything exceeded our expectations! The cabin is adorable, amazingly stocked, and well kept. It seems like many vacation rentals use low quality everything, while this one didn’t cut corners and felt like home! We will be back and will recommend this to everyone we know!

The cabin is beautiful, clean and decorated perfectly.
We enjoyed staying at the cabin and loved the wildlife around it. I saw the largest pileated woodpecker I have ever seen. The quiet, comfort was just what the doctor ordered. We celebrated our Anniversary at this cabin. It was perfect for us. There is Wi-Fi, but don’t count on it as the cell service is iffy.
We traveled with my parents and this cabin was great because there are two different living areas (upstairs and downstairs). We enjoyed the views and the porches, the kitchen is well stocked and it was handy to have a washer and dryer. The road getting up the mountain can be a challenge depending on the vehicle. I’m glad we have AWD and we didn’t have an issue.
Overall it’s a great place that is convenient to everything we wanted to do.
The cabin is really clean and there is lots of room. The upper deck is the only one we used, but it was really nice early in the day and in the early evening. The kitchen is well-stocked with seasonings, coffee, and kitchenware. The only challenge was getting up the steep gravel driveway. We went out only once during our stay, but didn't love the drive back up. The host was excellent and responded to emails/questions quickly. Thanks for an excellent retreat where we could also bring our pup.
First, our week long stay was wonderful. The property was very well taken care of with all of the necessities one needs. From separate hot tub towels to a meat thermometer, I don't thing there was anything that we needed and were missing. The location is beautiful with just a short ride into the closest town for supplies or a meal. We got a powdering of snow and the kids thoroughly enjoyed making the tiniest snowmen ever created. Since we were there during the winter storm, we were asked to drip the faucets until the temperature rose above freezing, which wasn't a problem at all. The power did go out one night for about 3 hours, but as soon as it did the property manager came by to show us where the emergency supplies could be found, ask if we needed anything else, and discuss what we could do if the power didn't come back on soon. Luckily for us it did, and we got to continue our stay.
The kids loved having the downstairs area to themselves for the stay and we really liked that after bedtime we could relax upstairs with a fire and chat without worrying about waking them up. The property manager trimmed and decorated a tree for us, for our stay and the kids thought Santa had prepped the cabin for us, and who am I to tell them otherwise? We had an amazing Christmas and a very relaxing week.
We hope to come back next winter for another visit. It's just what we needed for our holiday break
Please stay here! You’ll be so glad you did. Worth every penny. Hot tub is immaculately clean, and you can sit in it and look out over the mountains and then see the stars at night. So peaceful. No neighbors in your view. You’re in nature. King bed in master with heated mattress pad, controls for each side so you and your partner can set to different temps to sleep. I want one for our bed at home now!! Two nice TV’s. You can stream your favorite shows on their Roku or watch Dish TV. Two nice living rooms, one on each level with TV’s and couches/chairs. Two bedrooms and full bathrooms on different floors. Great for two couples to go, or if you have kids. 15 mins to downtown Ellijay. It’s so cute. Apple capital of GA! Can go apple picking a few miles away. Cleanest VRBO stay yet, and we only stay at 5-star places and travel A LOT. Couldn’t find one speck of dust if I tried! Took our two little mini doxies. They had a blast too. Full kitchen with all you need to cook. We cooked all our dinners in, salmon, spaghetti, you name it. Full fridge and freezer to put your groceries in. Rocking chairs and tables/chairs on both level decks. So beautiful to look at mtns, so quiet. Good wifi! Please book it! We’re going back come Fall! See you then, Steve! ;)
Beautiful cabin. Real quiet location. We saw wildlife during our stay. A doe and youngling was feeding just below the deck. Close to local attractions. Can't say enough about the host. Communication was Excellent. Cabin had everything you need in the kitchen. A very cozy place to stay.
My husband and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary at this beautiful home. Getting to and from town back up the mountain was scary and we prayed no one else was coming or going as it is basically a one car dirt road up the mountain. You are gifted with a gorgeous home and gorgeous views...and MOST OF ALL quiet away from people. Every person we met in any of the small towns we visited were extremely friendly and helpful. Steve has great communication....don't be put off by the stern rules as most adults who respect themselves and others automatically respect the properties they are visiting. I believe if it were my home I would be just as detailed as Steve in my guidelines. The bed was amazingly comfortable. Hot tubbing under the stars was the most incredible thing. We want one now :). The house looks bigger from the picture of the outside, however, there is PLENTY of room and everything you need to cook and stay hold up if that is what you are needing. We would LOVE to stay at this home in the Fall. I'll bet it is breathtaking.
Had a great & relaxing trip to this property. I slept so well on the main floor bed - the bed heater was a real treat.
The wrap around porch was a great feature with a hot tub. The view from the porch was spectacular and the space feels private.
My son & his friend stayed down stairs and enjoyed using it as a kids space.
My only downside is that the property sits atop a steep hill on a gravel road. My Santa Fe SUV had a hard time climbing it and our wheels spun out the first time we went up. 4 wheel drive strongly recommended for this trip!
Otherwise, awesome and comfy stay!
We had no problems getting to the cabin by following the directions provided, they're not kidding about the hill you have to climb though. I had to take it a little faster at 25 or so in my front wheel drive RAV4, but we made it up after a few tries. You should also take the same way back out that you took to get in. Technically the road does continue on and reconnects to the main road, but its less traveled and not graveled, if you have a 4x4 or some off road experience in a car that's got some height you'll be fine, if you have a car that's fairly low to the ground or you don't have either of the previously mentioned I would avoid going that way. The cabin was clean, very well stocked, and we spent a few days taking in the fresh air and watching the stars, we will definitely be back.
