Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy
CAUTION: My sister and I flew in from out of state for a concert. We were looking for an affordable stay and this RV seemed ideal price wise and location wise to Stanford Stadium. Upon booking, via email I got a confirmation, and a few days prior to the trip I got the location details and info from Vrbo. I had messaged the host about of this would be a keypad entry or how we were to get in once we arrive. I also asked if the RV was parked in a safe area, but I didn’t hear back. I brushed this off given that I had got a Vrbo confirmation. The day of check-in. Upon arriving via taxi, I see a massive row full of RV’s parallel parked with poster boards and dates written on them. I call the host because I was not expecting this, I wasn’t sure which RV I was to stay in. (Attached is the photo of a small portion of RV’s along with the towing caution sign, but more RV’s continued down the street.)I called the host who explained, she didn’t recall confirming my stay on Vrbo. She suggested I call Vrbo for help and I did. Vrbo did refund me. I was just left with finding housing the day of, which was incredibly stressful and difficult due to few options and high cost. I’m not sure why this listing still shows as available for booking, but if you choose to book- proceed with caution or have a backup.
