Skydance Lodge
Escape to the mountains and unwind at this charming cabin located in beautiful Wears Valley. Let the pace and peacefulnes of mountain life refresh and restore you.
As you arrive at Skydance Lodge, you will be greeted with fresh mountain air and a beautiful view of the mountains and valley. Pass by the rocking chairs on the front porch to enter the cabin on the top level. The open and airy floor plan features a high ceiling, log walls and beams, plenty of natural light and windows with a view.
The cozy living area is the perfect place to relax in front of the gas fireplace and enjoy a good movie or sporting event. The open kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of space for preparing your favorite meal. If you have a guest or children with you, there is a full size murphy bed that folds down from the wall located conveniently behind the couch. Adjacent to the kitchen area is a full bathroom.
The spiral staircase leads to the lower level master bedroom that features a king bed, full bath, pool table and washer/dryer. The back door leads out to the bubbling hot tub perfect for soaking stress away.
When you are ready to venture out, the Wears Valley entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is only 2 miles away. Hike to beautiful waterfalls, explore historic cabins, picnic next to a sparkling river or ride horses on woodland trails.
Year-round fishing and seasonal pool access is available nearby. Skydance Lodge has a membership for your use to the Honeysuckle Meadows Pool & Deli located approximately 1 ½ miles from the cabin. Fishing pole rentals are available onsite during the summer season.
Day driving trips through Cades Cove, to Clingmans Dome, around the Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail, to the Mountain Farm Museum & Mingus Mill near Cherokee or on the Tail of the Dragon make fun & memorable outings. The entrance to the new scenic Wears Valley/Walland section of the Foothills Parkway which took over 50 years to complete is located just 3 miles from Flaming Arrow.
For local dining near the cabin, some favorites are: Grandmother’s Kitchen, Elvira’s Café, Pawpaw’s Cajun Kitchen, Sloppy Hog Burger Joint, and the Wear Valley Social Food Truck Park.
Enjoy downtime at Skydance Lodge. Relax in rockers on the front porch sipping coffee, read a good book in front of the cozy fireplace or enjoy a beautiful susnet soaking in the hot tub.
At Skydance Lodge...have fun, relax, rest, repeat.

Emotional Support Animals: Per official ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) guidance, emotional support animals (ESAs) are not covered by federal public accommodations laws. We do not accept emotional support animals in non-pet friendly cabins since these animals are not protected by any applicable federal, state, or local laws or regulations regarding short term lodging in Tennessee. Renters with emotional support animals may only bring their ESA with them if they are staying in a pet friendly cabin and pay the relevant $75.00 non-refundable pet fee. Renters with service animals for a disability are explicitly protected under both federal and state law. The ADA defines service animals as dogs that have been “trained to perform a task directly related to a person’s disability.” Service animals are explicitly protected under both state and federal law, and, as such, are welcome in any of our cabins.
