End of September stay at Carpe Diem

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the unit itself. It is thoughtfully equipped and beautifully furnished. One advantage of this unit is the side patio, which is sunny and well-appointed.Unfortunately, the unit next to us had a lot of activity during our stay. Specifically, there was five hours of moving items from a moving van. Particularly disruptive were the five small dogs that barked at us each time we moved about outdoors. We were disappointed that the management company was not monitoring this situation.
Response from VrboOwner on 2 November 2026
Thank you for your thoughtful feedback! We're glad you enjoyed the unit and patio. We're truly sorry for the disruption caused by the renovation noise and barking dogs next door. We understand how frustrating it must have been to experience this throughout your stay. Although the renovation took place during permitted hours, we recognize that it still impacted your enjoyment of the property. We sincerely appreciate your understanding and hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a more peaceful stay in the future.
