Beautiful Mountain Air

The main cabin was a little small but the bunkhouse worked for us. This cabin had a fully furnished kitchen, e.g., cooking ware and utensils, and a barbecue grill which we really appreciated!

We had an absolutely wonderful Christmas stay at Buck Wild in Heber. The cabin was beautiful, clean, cozy, and exactly as described—perfect for a relaxing holiday getaway. You can tell a lot of thought went into making the place comfortable and welcoming.The host was truly outstanding—responsive, kind, and incredibly understanding, even when my nephew accidentally broke a lamp during our stay. They handled it with grace and professionalism, which we deeply appreciated and will not forget.This was the kind of place that makes lasting family memories, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to others. Thank you for an amazing experience and for being such a great host!

The enclosed yard was a great feature allowing us to bring our dogs on vacation. One of my favorite things was following them around the yard while enjoying temps 25 cooler than record highs in Phoenix

For the amount we paid the house was by far not what we were expecting. Spider webs everywhere, very stingy about towels and only provided very limited dish towels, paper towels and we had a spill and they had no extra towels for us to clean up. For having 8 people I’ve stayed at vrbos that supply enough for the stay plus some and even things like trash bags were limited. They expected us to “have just enough to go shopping.” We spent enough money on the place with the expectation that everything we need for our entire stay is provided and not spend more money to supply the place ourselves. They need to spend a decent amount on improvements of the backyard. Tons of weeds everywhere and fox tails and goat heads which then got into the house and we were constantly stepping on them. It’s not maintained well at all. A landscaper and bug guy is definitely a necessity. Also don't recommend sleeping in the master bedroom during summer. there is no AC and no air flow and fan doesn’t work well. We had windows open but it was still super hot during the day up to 82 or higher easily and even in the middle of the night it did not cool down in that room well. Made it difficult for us who had a toddler who needed to nap in a quiet room when the other ones were occupied by our family. The guest bunk house had horrible air flow and the ac unit it it did not work properly, kept shutting off every 20 minutes. Deck rails are unstable & has rotten wood sections near grill that are dangerous
