This gorgeous ground level stick built home, located in beautiful Melody Gardens, is just 6 houses back from the beach (5 min walk, 2 minute ride on golf cart). With it's open concept and approximately 1450 square feet of living space, this three bedroom/two full bath rental offers all the luxuries of a high-end home with plenty of room for a single family or 2 couples looking to vacation together. There is also a garage for extra storage and lots of parking available!

The Master Bedroom has a huge and fabulously comfortable King Size Bed with top of the line Tempur-Pedic mattress that sleeps like a dream! It also has a 42' High Definition Plasma Flat Screen TV with full Digital Cable Package, movie channels, etc. The private Master Bath is very spacious with a large garden tub, his and her sinks, and two separate walk-in closets.

The second bedroom has a pillow top queen size bed and a 32' Flat Screen TV with a second full bath off the hallway. The third bedroom is perfect for the children, with matching twin beds and also a 32' Flat Screen TV. Additional sleeping capacity is provided with a portable queen size air mattress (easy, automatic plug in).

The kitchen offers all the amenities of a high end home with all new stainless steel appliances, side-by-side refrigerator with water/ice maker, full-size dishwasher, microwave, stove, and a bar area for casual dining that seats three, as well as a full dining area that seats six-eight. The kitchen is also fully stocked with everything you need to prepare meals at home and fully enjoy the house if you wish.

The living room is very relaxing and comfortable with a plush sofa, recliner and additional comfy, relaxing chair as well as a beautiful new Panasonic 55' Plasma High Definition TV (Deluxe Digital Cable Package, all channels!), High End Bose Home Theater System, Blue Ray DVD/CD Player, and High-Speed Wireless Internet connection available!

There is a private laundry room off the kitchen with brand new High End LG Washer and Dryer.

Cook out on the new Gas Grill and enjoy the beautiful and private side patio with a full lake view and breathtaking sunsets! There is a Full patio set and umbrella for outside enjoyment in the sun! Or take full advantage of the outdoor enclosed shower and enjoy the warmth of the air after a long, relaxing day at the beach!

Our home also comes with full use of this beautiful high-end Golf Cart for your travels back and forth to the beach and around the village! Our Melody Gardens home has everything needed for that dream vacation at the beach!

Oceanside Village is a private, gated community within Surfside Beach. It has tons of amenities to offer besides a great beach, such as an indoor and outdoor pool, new gym/fitness facility, lighted tennis courts, volleyball courts, a basketball court, a baseball field, park area/playground for the kids, and fishing lakes all around the 144-acre property. This house is just a five minute walk to the ocean (6 houses back from the beach), and there is private beachfront parking available for community renters and residents only. The village is only a few minutes' drive north to Myrtle Beach and area attractions, or south to Murrell's Inlet and Pawley's Island for great seafood dining, nightlife, and specialty shops!

Perfect Beach Vacation!

This is the fourth property we’ve rented in Surfside over the past 8 years, and it is hands-down the best experience we’ve had: from gathering info on the property when we were down last year, to the incredible cleanliness when we arrived, to the fabulous communication with the owner throughout our stay, I cannot overstate how -leased we are. The location of this property cannot be beat, both in relation to the beach as well as the lovely community in which it’s located. Everything is very family (and pet!) friendly, and the inclusion of the golf cart in the rental is ideal. We are already working on reserving our dates for next year, and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a fantastic beach getaway!

Great House felt like Home!

My Wife and Son and myself stayed at house from Aug.25 until Aug.31st this year and let me tell you it was the cleanest house we have ever stayed in at OSV! The beds are super comfortable, house is well furnished with all the comforts of home. The owner Jennifer was awesome to work with she even left the door open for us after she inspected house so we didn't have to miss with the lock box. We travel with our two tiny pups so we have to always get a home that allows pets, now my wife is a clean freak and the first thing she always does is clean a place as soon as we arrive, well let me tell you she could not find any thing to clean in house cause it was spotless. I highly recommend this house to anyone traveling with pets You won't be sorry, golf cart was great and comes with the house at no extra charge also which today is a big deal.

Rental nightmare

The house was not entirely clean . Outdoor shower and garage had spiders . Floors were sandy and dirty . The furniture in the living room was wore out and had sand fleas. My grandson crawled across the floor and his legs were nasty . If you’re going to list something high end you need to update it . It needs a complete overhaul and an exterminator . She had grass took up during our stay which made another mess. I Should have know since reviews were dated back to 2023 very disappointed in house . The listing of the house is not what it says I hope future families can read this and go elsewhere. Plus the playground grass hasn’t been mowed in weeks ..

Nice and close to beach

It was nice being so close to beach and the community pools were great (I liked it that they were nice and warm). The golf cart was great to have and the grand daughters wanted to ride in it every chance they got. The house was all one level which was great not only for this senior citizens but for hauling in luggage, groceries, etc. It was nice to have plenty of room for everyone including two small dogs that had a little potty yard out back of house. The location was great to get to and from any other places of interest.

2019 SUMMER VACATION

The house and golf cart were nice and what we expected. Jennifer, the owner was very kind and helpful. We had a little trouble with gate pass card our first few days. We probably will not go to beach on a holiday week again..LOL. I guess the only thing we could really be unhappy about was the Oceanside Village beach restrictions. No canopies allowed not even the baby/kid tents. We watched them make 2 families take theirs down. We brought a canopy and were told we could not use on the 1st day, so we went and purchased an umbrella. Then we were told we could only put ours in line with the blue umbrellas or behind them, even though we witnessed umbrellas every where the day before. So just beware of that if that is important to your family.

This is a wonderful house to stay in if you are in Surfside Beach, SC! The house is beautifully decorated- has everything you could possibly need! And the best part is that it is pet-friendly!! A hard thing to find in the Myrtle Beach area! The O’neill’s were very easy to work with -attentive to the property as well as giving information regarding the whole rental process! I would highly recommend this rental property and hope that We can return there ourselves next year!!

Christmas at Surfside

This was myself and family's first time of having Christmas in somewhat more of a pleasant climate. Needless to say great time while staying there. The home we stayed at was represented very well as we had read prior to arriving. No problems during our 7 day stay with anything in the home. It was clean, very roomy and very easy to get to while still being in a gated community. This was our first stay in Surfside Beach and found it to be very relaxing and all the local business owners are quite accommodating as well. Access to beach was just a short distance away and the golf cart that was provided as part of the package makes it that much more easier. Great Christmas there with no complaints !

Not happy with the owners treatment

We arrived on Saturday 9/8/2018 just in time for the hurricane warnings. On Monday 9/10 the state of SC declared mandatory evacuation beginning Tuesday 9/11. We complied with the state mandate and left on Tuesday about 10:00 am, and returned to our home in Florida, arriving the next day 9/12. We listened and watched the weather reports, flooding reports, and the traffic reports and determined that it would be almost impossible to return. Based on the language in the rental contract, we expected a full refund, less the pet fee, VRBO service fee, and the 3 nights we stayed at the house. The owner decided not to comply with the refund language in the contract, but decided to refund us only for the 5 days that were the mandatory evacuation days. Therefore, our 3 day beach vacation cost us a bundle.

Oceanside Village has so much to offer, and it the perfect family vacation spot in the heart of Surfside Beach!

Our new property has been completely remodelled over the past several months, and is basically a new home. We have tried to make it extremely comfortable, with lots of the little 'Extras' to make it feel like home.
