The Selah Story...
With its biblical roots, the word selah means, “Pause, stop, and listen” — and there’s no better place for it than this spacious, warm, and inviting cabin. Bright as the Georgia sunshine streaming through the windows, Selah is a cozy combination of modern and homely design and playful splashes of color… aka the perfect home base for you and your group.
In the shadow of the Blue Ridge Mountains, with the Chestatee River carving through it, Dahlonega is quite possibly north Georgia’s most uniquely delightful town. Just 90 miles from Atlanta, in the heart of what the New York Times calls Georgia’s Wine Country, Dahlonega has something for everyone: outdoor adventure, visual and performing arts, culture, history, live music, and year-round entertainment at venues and seasonal festivals. Come find out for yourself why in 2023 Southern Living named Dahlonega “Georgia’s Best Small Town.”
The cabin. There are “rental properties,” and then there’s Selah. Charming, roomy, and comfortable, this unique, colorful home is perfect for making indelible memories with the whole family or friend group.
Sleep like a royal on luxuriously triple-sheeted beds; co-create culinary masterpieces in two fully outfitted kitchens then savor them inside or al fresco under the stars; tell stories late into the evening around the fire pits as night birds sing their songs; shoot pool or throw darts in the game room; cuddle up with a book in one of a dozen cozy nooks; enjoy a glass of local wine and the sound of the rushing river below from the screened in porch; throw a record on and boogie (or slow dance) the night away, or just… pause, stop, and listen.

This home was an excellent property so cozy, so centrally located to the beautiful wine country of North Georgia. Wish we had more time to explore this area. Can’t say enough about the home itself. It had everything we needed or wanted.

We truly appreciate you sharing your experience! Our goal is to provide a well-appointed and comfortable home base for guests to enjoy the fantastic wineries and attractions in the North Georgia region. Thank you for your high recommendation, and we look forward to hosting your next vineyard tour.
The house is great! We really liked the layout. It’s not easy to find a house with 5 bedrooms. The downstairs space was fun. We enjoyed the pool table and watching movies on the big couch. The kitchen was well appointed. The area where the house was located was very pretty and peaceful

The house was beautiful, in a very scenic location. Everything was provided, even shampoo and conditioner in every bathroom. I couldn't be happier with the service provided.

Thank you so much for the kind words! We’re really glad you enjoyed the home and the beautiful surroundings 😊 Happy to hear everything you needed was there and that you had a great experience.
Wonderful home with amazing view. Very peaceful retreat. Huge amount of space inside and outside - bigger than the photos show. The back porch is a dream. Kitchen is the best stocked of any we've ever stayed in. Furniture was all great and very comfortable. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Kitchen was fully equipped; we were not warned about steep driveway to get to house, but we managed once maneuvered. Our only complaint had to do with outside grill. It was filthy and it took my husband 1/2 to clean it up.

Thanks a bunch for sharing! Those mountain hills sure don't play around, so kudos to you guys for maneuvering that driveway like locals. We're truly sorry the grill was a mess when you got there, and we appreciate your husband giving it some elbow grease. We'll make sure the team tightens up our checklists so it's ready to cook on next time. Hope to host y'all again soon!
absolutely loved the stay. everything about it just was perfect. of course the days we picked it was raining 2 out of the 3 days we were visiting but it made it even more perfect to me. the noise from the rain, the area to sit & not get wet, the view, absolutely nothing bad to say!!

There’s just something cozy about listening to the rain out in the woods with a good view and a covered spot to relax. So glad you loved your stay, and we’d be happy to have you back anytime!
This place was more than we expected. Location was great. If you’re doing a girl trip or family gathering this is the place. There is so much in one home to accommodate any age. The communication was excellent from the beginning to end. Check in was easy and secure. The beds were very comfortable. We loved it and can’t wait to return.
This was a great property for our group of 9 friends! We were able to all hang out together but there was plenty of room for people to have their own space. We especially loved the screened porch and the view from there. The kitchen was well equipped for us to cook multiple meals and the bed in the master bedroom was super comfortable!
Selah was the perfect location for a long weekend trip with friends! The home was clean and conveniently located for exploring Dahlonega and Cleveland. The kitchen was well stocked and the owners provided extra essentials like toilet paper, which is uncommon and appreciated. There was ample parking and lots of outside space, but be aware the driveway is very steep. Overall: a great place to stay! Would recommend and stay again.
Everything was so amazing! Make sure you go down to the little white bridge.

Thank you for your kind words! I’m thrilled to hear you had such an amazing time. The little white bridge is a special spot—I’m so glad you got to enjoy it! I’d love to host you again for more memorable moments.
Very clean “home”. And I truly mean home. Not like the other houses the rest of the family stayed in for the weekend wedding. Their houses felt cold and empty. Whereas your home felt like home. Thank you. We loved it and hope to visit again.
The kitchen is stocked better than any place I have ever stayed. The house and outside areas give ample space and opportunity for fun and you never feel on top of each other.
Selah is conveniently located to Dahlonega, Helen, Cleveland, and Dawsonville.
It provided the perfect accommodations for our Cousins trip.

I am home sick after leaving Selah! We absolutely loved this home! Everything was perfect; the home itself, everything that was provided, the decor, location, the yard/trails, etc. The main driveway is steep but doable; however, if you come in at the 190 mailbox there is no incline.
This property is amazing! It was perfect for our stay. We were in town for our son’s graduation and this was the perfect property.

Selah is a lovely home in a beautiful location! It’s well-appointed with all the amenities and spacious for togetherness or solitude. Our group of 8 was very comfortable!
Beautifully decorated and well-stocked home for a memorable weekend getaway with daughter and granddaughters. So many areas for individual quiet time or group gatherings. Fantastic views of foliage and deer and to our delight, reading materials and games our granddaughters were able to enjoy. We would stay again.

Thank you for your review! We are glad you had a good stay at one of our properties!
The photos don't do this house suggest. There is plenty of room for everyone. We loved all of the amenities including the pool table, record player, and screened-in porch. We'll definitely be back!
This cabin is incredibly impressive! The cabin is quite large and spotless. The kitchen was thoroughly furnished with all the necessities for preparing family meals. The beds offered comfort. This cabin is an excellent choice! You will certainly not regret reserving this cabin! Thank you, Suches Vacation, for a fantastic experience!
We live in Florida and wanted a chance to get up to the mountains and so this was the perfect retreat for our family. We came with our four sons, two wives (one pregnant and one with an infant), and we were able to bring our dog along, which was super helpful. There was so many different spaces in the house for everyone to have plenty of room to spread out and our four young adult sons loved the downstairs area as they were able to set up to play video games, have pool tournaments, watch March madness, it was great! We explored the woods near the house, made fires in the fire pit each night and just had great quality family time.
