This is a great place to get away. The views are very relaxing. It’s a little remote place with a big yard, so it was very peaceful.

We loved staying in the adorable house that had everything we needed. The kitchenette upstairs was a nice plus. The yard is spacious, although we didn't get to enjoy much due to weather but it's such a beautiful location!

Everything was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The kitchen was fully stocked with condiments and utensils. It's an easy, convenient place for a vacation stay. This being a riverfront in coastal Carolina in August, we were prepared for flying, buzzing, and crawling bugs. BUT we saw extremely few of any kind of bug. None in the house, no gnats or mosquitoes on the porch or on the beach. Didn't need the repellent we brought.Maybe that's because we spotted 25 species of birds around the house, from ospreys and herons to terns to gnatcatchers, kingbirds, wrens, and every other kind of insect eater. Fish were leaping out of the river, dolphins passed by going upriver; always something to see.It's quiet and secluded and a great place to spend some time together.

House was awesome. Very clean, everything looks new. The morning view across the river is amazing. The location is a little out of the way, but that was part of the draw for us. Very quiet. We would go back again.

This property was everything we hoped for and more. The hosts have the home equipped with all basic needs you could want and was decorated beautifully. The beds were very comfortable. The lot and view of the river is just so peaceful and was so safe for my two pre-school grand-daughters to play. The hosts were readily available to answer any questions we had. We hope we can return one day!

Nice secluded place

The property was just as described in the listing. The private access to the beach/river is great. It was nice to have the whole beach to ourselves. The host was responsive and helpful. There was only one problem- crickets. Lots of crickets. Not sure if that is a seasonal thing or why there were so many.

The pictures really don’t do this place any justice. It is BEAUTIFUL WELL TAKEN CARE OF PERFECT little PARADISE , me and my family will be making this our forever vacation spot ! The hosts are amazing , and very attentive It’s such a beautiful place to get away , it definitely felt like home , I didn’t want to leave if I could give a rating it would be 100-100 !

Cleanest VRBO we have rented. House was beautiful and felt like home. Property was amazing, quiet, and we loved the private beach. Not too far from Havelock, Morehead City, and Beaufort. If we are ever back I the area we will be renting this house again if available. 100% recommend!
