Manatee time! Waterfront Home, floating dock, kayaks, paddle boards, gulf access

Time to book for January and February manatee trips! Fishing, kayaking, paddle boards, golf, walks in the warm sun, boating, swimming in the springs (constant 72-74 degree water). Don't miss the manatees! Also a great time of year to hit the area amusement parks as it is not "summer hot" or as busy.

Views, sunsets, water, shore birds, manatees, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, without leaving the house. This is the place to stay and explore Florida's amazing central gulf coast. Located on the beautiful salt water canals of Hernando Beach (30' deep, clean water, more like a lake), you can watch dolphins and catch fish right from our dock, kayak the canals or take a short paddle to the gulf. Swim right in front of the house or go to the nearby spring fed Weeki Wachi River, or snorkel with the manatees during the winter in nearby Crystal River or the Weeki Wachi. Soak in our hot tub when you are ready to relax!

Enjoy a scalloping trip, fishing excursion, kayaking adventure (in the gulf or the local rivers), a dinner cruise, or just relaxing and soaking up the warmth and sun of Florida! We are less than 2 hours away from Disney, Busch Gardens, Legoland and less than 1 hour from Homossassa Springs, Crystal River, Cedar Key, alligator tours, and great golfing. The Weeki Wachee Springs is just next door, including the water park and world famous live mermaid show.

We have a large private dock for lounging or parking your boat (or a rental from the local marina). The local area is a great for fishing, exploring, swimming, and even just hanging out at the Hernando Flats! There are lots of local fishing and wildlife boat charters available and terrific local restaurants. Even the much loved local "Tiki Boat" that will take you out for an afternoon of swimming and relaxing at the flats.

This property is being rented for the first time ever in 2024 so we are offering discounted rates, but top notch service and experiences!

The house was truly beautiful and spotless. We had a wonderful time enjoying the outdoor space, and we really appreciated the beach toys! There were plenty of activities just a short drive away, and the neighbors were incredibly friendly. All of the beds were very comfortable, with plenty of extra blankets. Our group of 10 fit perfectly, the house accommodated us very well!

The home was everything we had hoped for, comfortable and lovely. All of the essentials were provided, as well as many thoughtful extras. The location is in a nice quiet area, but still close enough to restaurants, groceries, etc. Bicycling, kayaking, nature walks are all easily done. We would absolutely come back again.

Terrific Place

We have stayed in Hernando Beach several times as a gateway to so many fun activities. This home being new on the rental market was a great find for us. It fit our family well, had everything we needed in the kitchen, water toys, easy parking and the sunsets were breath taking each night. We fished, caught scallops, swam in the canal in front of the house, enjoyed the local restaurants, used the kayaks and a few of us old folks even learned to stand up paddle board. Great fun. The owner was easy to communicate with, the home was very clean, beds comfortable. We will repeat our stay at this home.

Great house with a view

The property was great, the house and decor are beautiful. Every room has some nice Florida decor and all the lights switches and fans are labeled. Everything in the kitchen is also labeled so you can find it easy and know where to put it back. The house has so many amenities if you forget something chances are they have it there. The house is right on a canal which we were able to kayak right off the dock. We also rented a boat from Captains Boat Rental. We found them very reasonable in price and as a bonus we were able to keep the boat overnight right on the dock. We enjoyed a sunset from the balcony every night. Overall definitely recommend this house
