Really nice place just 1-2 miles north of downtown Sonoma. Quiet and extremely comfortable. Master bed very comfortable. Amenities are provided for nicely, with an assortment of body care products and a fully equipped kitchen (except no electric pot). We really enjoyed our stay and would seek this out in the future.

Great location to wineries and restaurants

This is our second stay in the Sonoma area. The house was lovely, well-appointed, and in an excellent location close to everything. The neighborhood was beautiful and very quiet too!

Lovely stay at Lavender Cottage

Everything was as pictured and wonderfully homey. Location is wonderful - nothing was too far by any means, though we were secluded enough that we had privacy, quiet, and lovely views.

The house itself was great! Very clean, open and well kept. Master bed was comfortable. The kitchen was in good working order and well stocked with pots, pans, appliances etc.Both bathrooms were also nice.My problem was with the neighbors dogs! I am not sure if this is typical, but they barked off and on throughout the day and up until 10PM. So while enjoying the nice deck and relaxing, the dogs often ruined it. My other issue was more minor but disheartening. The grill, which we like to use on our trips, was covered in rodent droppings. The side shelves and inside the grill area stunk. This seems to be quite an oversight as it is shown and mentioned in the listing.

Convenience with value.

We were visiting both Napa and Sonoma and this location was convenient for both. A great value for a great location. The host was easy to reach before arrival and not needed during our 6 day stay.
