About this property

New Modern House in Sonoma Valley's Best Area

Our modern house, which sleeps four in two separate spaces (a bedroom and a large office) has everything you could ask for when visiting the wine country: expansive decks, outdoor furniture and a high-end grill to enjoy the outdoors. Our living room has contemporary furniture with glass, accordion doors that bring the outside in. Great views of lots of open space. WiFi enabled. Enjoy our wireless Sonos stereo system. Stream a movie using NetFlix or Amazon Prime. (Unfortunately, we do not have cable channels. )

The house, equipped with air conditioning, has plenty of privacy and shares two acres with a main house, which is next door. It's set amongst California live oaks and Bay trees. A “winter” creek runs through the property. We have redtail hawks, wild turkeys, deer and the occasional fox. Take a walk down the quiet country lane or better yet, bring bikes and enjoy one of Sonoma’s best biking regions. We are in walking distance of one of Sonoma’s best regional parks, Annadel State Park. Historic Jack London State Park is only 15 minutes by car and Sugarloaf State Park is 10 minutes away.

The cute town of Kenwood is only five minutes by car. Glen Ellen’s top rated restaurants are 15 minutes and the downtown of Sonoma is 25 minutes. Quiet and secluded, the house is also just minutes from some of Sonoma Valley’s best and most picturesque wineries, including Ledson, Kunde and St. Francis.

A wonderful home in a wonderful location. A very peaceful setting just outside of town. Plenty of room to spread out, with great spaces indoor and out. Everything was top notch, from linens to the quality of the kitchen utensils. Felt just as comfortable as I would in my own home. Everything was easy to navigate from the check in process to the instructions for the property amenities. A job well done by these hosts. Thank you for a perfect stay.

Great property

I loved the cleanliness of the property, and found that it was well-stocked with everything we needed. The location was incredibly peaceful, but close enough to action for a fun day out. I would definitely return again.

A lovely modern house; well equipped, well appointed and decorated with a wonderfully eclectic mix of artworks and ornaments. A perfect base for exploring the region but beware - the house is so nice you may not want to go further than the deck.

An amazing place

We were so impressed with this home from the moment we stepped through the door. Huge windows let lots of light into the living area and lead out to a wraparound balcony. There's two very good-sized bedrooms with loverly comfy beds. The whole place is spotlessly clean with quality linens and towels. We had a fabulous 10 day stay and would definitely love to return when we are next in the Sonoma Valley.

Very modern and chic style building- beautiful living space with floor to ceiling windows overlooking a n interesting meadow and burbling creek. Very clean and comfortable- had everything you would need. Easy access to local restaurants and wineries. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful location

This Kenwood spot is heavenly!!! The house is set on a lovely site with beautiful trees and an open field with a little creek meandering by. Lots of birds and birdsong too. It’s private while also open to wonderful nature views. Just perfect! The house is wonderful too; great design, comfortable, and well appointed in every way. We’ll definitely try to come back.

Eric’s house and location is amazing. From the wildlife that walks past the full length sliding doors, the stream that runs through the property to the close proximity to all the many vineyards in the Sonoma and Napa region. Eric leaves a detailed list of all the activities and dining the area has to offer. A must stay.

Wonderful stay

We really enjoyed the property. It was super clean, very spacious, isolated but only 5 min from town. For us, the perfect location. We saw wildlife everyday and cant say enough about sitting on the deck, looking out on the property, and drinking our morning coffee. If we come back to Sonoma, thid will be our #1 pick.

We loved our stay in Kenwood! It was perfect for two couples, and having two bathrooms was great. Beds were super comfy, the kitchen is fully appointed, and the fridge having a water filter is always a great bonus. The location was great for exploring different wineries. We would absolutely stay again next time we are in California!

Great Get Away Find

Very nice open and modern house secluded away from the crowds. It has a kitchen and gas grill so you can save on money on restaurants to buy more wine 👍 The option for EV charging is also an additional convenience.

Incredible, secluded, and modern home! We saw plenty of deer, wild turkeys, and long-eared rabbits. The home and amenities are beautiful. We were able to visit Napa Valley, Sonoma, and the surrounding cities. The vineyards were incredible!

Peaceful place to welcome new year

I loved the green meadow, gentle hills, and the babbling brook right next to this very comfortable new home. Sit outside, watch the great variety of birds, listen to the brook, breath in the clean air - just what the soul wanted. Come inside and enjoy comfortable, light and bright space.

Beautiful clean house in a scenic setting

This house is exactly as pictured. The beautiful windows offer great views and we saw both deer and a fox while we were there. It is a bit out of the way and expect to drive 15-20 minutes to get to a decent sized grocery store. We really enjoyed all the games and had great meals in the kitchen. There are some trailheads right in the area that we enjoyed as well as a great hike at sugarloaf. Many wineries within a 15 minute drive. Thanks for a great stay!
