This is an amazing property. The pool and the gardens just add to making this property a sanctuary. The owners have done an amazing job of making this feel like home/ Sandy is the vrbo manager and she sent us everything we need to know about the area. So close to amazing places to eat as well as downtown Sonoma. We will be back :)

Lovely setting. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. It was a bit of a distance to many of the wineries but we enjoyed our stay

Perfect get away
Me, my wife and two boys loved staying at the mustard house! It is a beautiful piece of property that was exactly what we needed to get out of the city and enjoy the peacefulness of the country.
We had a wonderful stay. The property is magnificent, such beauty in setting, the landscaping, the vineyard, olive trees, roses, the artful decor in color, even the gate to the house! The 2 houses worked perfectly for our family and the pool and hot tub were ideal. We cooked in and ate out, explored the beauty of Glen Ellen and Sonoma County at the state parks and the vineyards.
We had the most wonderful stay at Le Jardin. Everything was perfect - the home and cottage are both well-equipped with everything you need. The property is full of magical moments from chimes in the trees to birdhouses and bee hives, and the landscaping is beautiful as well with irises, roses, lavender, poppies, and more. Sandy was so helpful with any questions we had, and we look forward to coming back soon. A beautiful stay in a beautiful space!
We truly enjoyed this property… We did have a bit of a problem with the pool but we reached out to the property manager and it was resolved in a timely matter. In addition to resolving the problem they offered to return our money for the pool heat…
This is a beautiful place and we enjoyed the homes and the grounds. The gardens were so beautiful and relaxing and we did harvest a few veggies and flowers as invited by the owners. Note:the homes are not air conditioned so beware in Summer months. We were lucky enough to only have one hot day during our stay.

Hi Allison
Thank you for your review. Just to clarify - there are air conditioners in the upstairs bedrooms. The downstairs rarely gets hot as the walls are extra thick.
Sandy
We had a great experience. The property is amazing and makes you feel like you are in France. The only drawback was the patio door and sunlight didn’t have shades. It made for bright mornings, but didn’t ruin the wine tours or a pool day. Overall it was a great experience.
The property was amazing- pictures on vrbo just don't do it justice! The owners are wonderful (even let us help out with harvest and the crush at their vineyard on site- something we've always wanted to do!) and Sandy makes the entire rental process seamless. I cannot say enough positive words about our recent stay here, but can guarantee that we'll be back! :) Thank you for a wonderful wine country get away weekend!

Picture perfect setting for a quiet getaway
The Le Jardin property was the perfect place for a girls weekend. The houses are very nice, comfortable and had everything we needed. The property is like a movie set with the pool area, tables, flowers, vineyards and fruit trees. We enjoyed Glen Ellen and Sonoma as well as several wineries. Our favorite thing though was to eat outside and just enjoy the scenery. I highly recommend this property for anyone that needs to getaway from the city or just the overall stress of life to relax.

Le Jardin
There with family for a relaxing wine tasting week. Beautiful house, well equipped and very peaceful. It was in the upper 90's most of the week so sitting by the pool was wonderful! The house cooled down nicely at night and no need for the air conditioner. The grounds are beautiful. My only complaint is if you have Verizon for cell service, you have no cell service.😪

Grace - thank you for your nice review and your rental. We have been trying to get service out here for Verizon customer. I purchased a network extender that works like a mini cell tower for our property, which will strengthen the network signal. This should make it easier to use your cell phone. Aurea

Quiet and relaxing weekend getaway in wine country
The property was as described in the listing. Well stocked with just about everything you could need and should something come up the property manager is very responsive. It was great being so close to dozens of vineyards but remote enough to be able to relax in the peace and quiet of the house. Due to the poor weather we didn't even get to experience a lot of the amenities like the hot tub, pool, fire pit, relax on the porch/balcony, and general exploration of the grounds yet we still loved it! I would definitely recommend Le Jardin to anyone visiting wine country and it will be at the top of my list should a return trip be in order!

A relaxing stay in the Glen Ellen countryside
The house was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch and exploring the property, which included a tiny vineyard (the owners were harvesting the grapes the morning we left) and which was visited by a flock of turkeys one day. The surrounding countryside is lovely and several wineries are close by. However, prospective renters should be aware that though the house is close to Glen Ellen in terms of distance, the winding country roads, which are not lit at night, can make driving time longer than expected. Also, though there are two full bathrooms, one is on the ground floor. This worked for us since my husband and I were staying with my son and his girlfriend, but may be awkward for some couples.

Thank you for writing a review for us. We always appreciate hearing from folks who enjoyed their stay. We do explain the bathroom split in the description of the property. Yes the road is a nice recently paved country road, as it is a scenic byway and during the day it is used a lot by bicyclist as it is so beautiful. Notifying folks about not being lit is a good idea, especially when coming back at night.

Beautiful and relaxing
Lovely place to stay and enjoy the beauty and quiet surroundings. The weather did not allow for swimming but the hot tub felt great after a long day. ( you need at least an hour to heat it up). Enjoyed a couple of meals outside under the lovely canopy. Surrounding flowers were beautiful. Kitchen was roomy and modern and living area was cozy and comfortable. Upstairs bedrooms were perfect for two couples. Both bathrooms had showers so one couple used the one downstairs and the other upstairs. Washer and dryer located in hallway between kitchen and family room. Loved the balcony on the 2nd floor what a way to enjoy your coffee in the morning. Glen Ellen area was delightful. We met so many friendly people and fell in love with the grocery store and all it had to offer. The drive over the hill into Napa each day to attend Bottle Rock took about 45 mins.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write your review. We are sure your review will be very helpful to future guests at LeJardin and future Bottle Rock attendees.
Everything was great — check- in process, house was very cozy and clean, area where house is located was beautiful and peaceful. The extra touch of wine and coffee left as welcome gift was great. There was a bit of miscommunication about the pool set up. However, we were able to sort it out with the property manager. We look forward to spending more time at this property.
