Wir finden,dass man ohne ein passendes Auto schlecht zu dem Haus kommt. Die Straßen sind in schlechtem Zustand und für uns nicht wie im Inserat beschrieben mit einer "country road" gleichzusetzten. Man benötigt ab dem Schild ca.15-20 Minuten um zu dem Haus zu gelangen.Das Haus ist schön mit einer tollen Aussicht und alles ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Toller Pool und genug Platz für 2 Familien.

Tuscany is indeed a region full of charming white and country roads like ours, which contribute to the beauty of the unspoiled, idyllic rolling hills, offering a peaceful contrast to the usual hustle and bustle of big cities. While 15-20 minutes might seem a bit generous for the 3.5 km drive from the main road to the house, we understand that enjoying the scenery can certainly slow things down! Most guests find the journey takes a bit less time, but we’re glad to hear you took in the beautiful views along the way. Our guests typically arrive at Villa Toscanella in standard cars of all types. That said, we do agree that sports cars or vehicles with a low profile might not be the best fit for these roads. Once again, thank you, and we hope to welcome you back as our guests in the future!

lovely villa in quiet and rural setting

Great villa enjoying fab views and amazing sunsets. The villa is a good 10 mins drive down an unmade track but if you are looking for a quiet of the beaten track retreat its perfect! Larger than average swimming pool.

Nice Villa with great location and views but needs better cleaners

Villa is placed in nice area and is well laid out with good room sizes and pool. Air conditioning in all rooms. Views are amazing. Major issue we had was villa was not cleaned well. Cobwebs and insects in all rooms and stairway. Pool was full of insects and lizards. We had to spent half a day cleanup the villa so that my kids stopped saying it was yucky !!

Dear Siew thanks for your feedback which we have taken very seriously to address the cleaning problem you reported. Albeit I have no doubt of your reported issues I hope you will appreciate this must have been an isolated case. Evidences are the very positive feedback guests have left on other rental portals such as airbnb and holidaylettings for the property as a whole and the way it is maintained (5 stars on airbnb - 4.5 stars holidaylettings). Nevertheless, since the time of your feedback we have reviewed the full house and pool cleaning process. We have changed the cleaning service people with more professional cleaners, we have also inserted a mix of robotic and manual cleaning for the pool with a dedicated person coming in even more regularly to keep water in its pristine conditions. In conclusion, thanks again for your helpful feedback, sure little consolation to read that over the one week stay the issue with the pool was fixed in half a day. In the event of anything being sub-optimal with the property I should always plea our guests to connect with either myself or the property manager asap (!). I can fully reassure on an immediate intervention with a fix of the issue. Thank you very much again! alex
