The Space:

Elysian is made for the rhythm of a Mt. Baker getaway: days in the mountains, a hot soak beneath the evergreens, and evenings gathered around the fire.



Tucked into the forest of Glacier Springs near Glacier, Washington, this modern mountain cabin sleeps up to six guests and combines warm Pacific Northwest design with the comforts that make a mountain stay easy. Vaulted wood ceilings, large windows, natural wood finishes and an open living space bring the surrounding forest into the home without sacrificing modern amenities.



In winter, spend the day skiing or snowboarding at Mt. Baker Ski Area, then return to your private hot tub and a crackling wood burning fireplace. During the warmer months, Elysian is an equally inviting base for hiking, mountain biking, river adventures and exploring the North Cascades.

INSIDE THE CABIN



The main living area is open, warm and comfortable, with vaulted ceilings, a leather sectional, large forest-facing windows and the wood-burning fireplace as a natural gathering point.



The full kitchen keeps everyone connected to the living space and includes generous counter space, an island with seating, full-size appliances and everything you need for relaxed breakfasts before the mountain or dinner back at the cabin.

The loft overlooks the main living area and is not an enclosed bedroom, making it especially well suited to children, teens or friends who don't need full bedroom privacy.

The forest setting is one of Elysian's best features. Soak in the private hot tub beneath the evergreens, gather around the outdoor fire pit, enjoy dinner from the BBQ grill, or simply settle in outside and listen to the forest.

High speed fiber internet makes streaming and remote work easy, while the Level 2 EV charger adds convenience for electric vehicle travelers. A whole home backup generator offers additional peace of mind during mountain weather.

The Neighborhood:

Glacier Springs is a quiet forested mountain community near Glacier, Washington, surrounded by evergreens and close to the Nooksack River and Mt. Baker Snoqualmie National Forest.



Glacier's restaurants, coffee and local services are just a short drive away, while Mt. Baker Ski Area is approximately 25 minutes up the highway. In winter, the area is an ideal home base for ski and snowboard trips. During the rest of the year, hiking, mountain biking, river adventures and scenic drives make this a true four-season destination.



You get the peaceful feeling of being tucked into the forest while staying close to the places that bring travelers to the Mt. Baker area.



Getting Around:

A car is recommended, especially in winter when snow is common. Grocery stores and restaurants are just a 10–15 minute drive away. There is parking enough for three cars, and we have an EV charger available for your use during your stay. We recommend stopping in Bellingham on your way up for larger groceries as the stores around us are limited and sell smaller quantities.

Other Things to Note:

Elysian sleeps a maximum of 6 guests.



The sleeping loft is open to the living area and is not an enclosed bedroom.



A car is recommended. Winter weather and snow are common in the Mt. Baker area, so guests traveling during ski season should arrive prepared for mountain driving conditions.



Parking is available for up to three vehicles.



A Level 2 EV charger is available at the home.



Elysian also has a whole-home backup generator for added peace of mind during occasional mountain power outages.



Pets are not permitted.



A Pack 'n Play and high chair may be available upon request.
