Oceanfront property is located steps from the Ocean in an upstairs large spacious private apartment with private entrance roughly 800 sq ft with breathtaking views of the Ocean, Mountains, Sea Turtles and other marine life out the large windows and the lanai patio. The living room is situated with a beautiful view of the ocean and includes a sectional couch with coffee table, and HD TV with Cable, Netflix and Amazon Instant Video included. Outside your living room is an attached lanai deck with lounge chairs and side table to sit and take in breath taking views of the ocean. The Kitchen includes a full size refrigerator, sink, cooktop with two burners with pots and pans, toaster over, microwave, fully-stocked Keurig machine, coffee maker, dishware, silverware, knives and table for 2. The Master Bedroom has beautiful views of the ocean and mountains. Enjoy a comfortable bed, dressors, nightstands and lamps and ceiling fans. The bathroom has a large unique shower, toilet and sink with towels provided. Outside you have a private beach that is your own water access, and gives you the freedom to use the property's included tandem kayak and plethora of snorkeling gear, and boggie boards. Just a few meters from the ocean, you can enjoy the beauty of the easterly sunrise and the power of the famous Hawaii surf from the comfort of you own living room. You are surrounded in a tropical paradise of plants and hiking trails.

We are 5 minutes from shopping, grocery stores, restaurants and food trucks which makes it convenient if you need something.

Anniversary Getaway

This place is literally on the waterfront! Great views and the sounds of waves crashing are so relaxing! Away from the hustle and bustle of Honolulu, close access to the North Shore, and close to the plush greenery of the Jurassic Valley.

Paradise on the North Shore of Oahu

A Quiet getaway

A beautiful view spent hours watching the waves go grate sun rise the host meet use at arrival and very nice and friendly the cottage was nice and had everything we needed to make a couple of small breakfast's, it took a little work it reminded us of camping in high end camper on the ocean front so it’s not for those who want to be pampered we enjoyed our stay very much and will do it again if we return

Place is awesome fishing recommendation.

I mean it's on the coast in Hawaii! can catch bonefish right out your back door. Location is great, place is clean and exactly as described. Host is helpful but not intrusive and super cool. I highly recommend Boom Boom sport fishing. Caught marlin, tuna, mahi mahi and captain was great.

Great Ocean View

The view was awesome in this VRBO. Was easy to find and get into at check in. Unit is quaint and quiet. Cooking anything was pretty Much non existent unless you used their microwave or their electric skillet. Lots of pots and pans but nothing to use them on. Food trucks up the road were a life saver. Turtle Bay resort up the road also a must. Loved the place otherwise and would come back again.

Older home, wonderful location

We enjoyed very much our stay. Being right on the ocean with a deck and view was wonderful. Amazing sunrises. The home is adequate. A few strange things like the kitchen sink not in the kitchen and quite a few cooking pans but no way to cook. Not even a hotplate. There is an electric skillet. Fu sized refrigerator was nice. The home is a short druve to the Polynesian Cultural Center where we enjoyed a wonderful time.

Great location and friendly host. Pics in listing do match exactly. There was no Kurig Coffee machine, Fire extinguisher, first aid kit, kayak, sandy beach, window screens. No kitchen, just a room with a refrigerator, table, shelves and other pieces of furniture. Plenty of pots and pans but nothing to cook on. Laundry equipment out of order. General condition of property structure was needing paint on garage doors and balcony. Great place/host but over-priced based on condition.

Beautiful but no working appliances

Communication was great until check in. We bought plenty of food for the week. Then the fridge went out. After reaching out we did not hear from the host again. The problem was never fixed or reimbursed for the food gone bad. Stayed there for the whole week and did not get any solution. Otherwise it was a beautiful area with great view. The private beach does not have easy access. Must climb down a rock wall to get to it. The doors did not lock every time and the back sliding doors did not lock at all. Was mostly clean but cleaned in just main visible areas , plenty of dirt/sand and trash left under couch.

Amazing views

Upon arriving we were greeted by the owner. She was awesome! The house small and quaint, views spectacular. Lack of kitchen cookware does put limits on meals, if you are planning on staying in. Fridge is now full size! House was clean, deck was small but offered AMAZING views and sounds... double glass sliding doors open to allow the ocean in. PERFECT for a couple who want to unwind! 30 mins to Waimea Bay and Hale'iwa, which are must visits!

Reviews, Expectation & Experience Didn't Match

No one can dispute the amazing view! Immediately after booking, we received no communication from the owner till the night before check-in. In other VRBO rentals, we’ve received information a few days to a week before arrival, which settles some nerves when traveling long distances for a rental. With that said, check-in was simple, and the instructions were clear. Zero problems, however we did notice a few things had changed in the living area compared to the posted photos, such as the layout of the living room, furniture pictured, and the wall of windows became a slider. Strangely, what I’m sure was meant as upgrades felt like downgrades to us. We were a little surprised by the changes and how they make the space feel claustrophobic. The space in the bedroom is quite tight; there is a portable A/C unit in the room now which we didn’t use because there was a strong wind blowing while we were in town. The two primary concerns was the lack of a single smoke detector – all of them had been removed. We had distinct concern that the electric could be easily overloaded as there were very few outlets. One wasn’t even attached to the wall. Definitely a hazard if you brought a child. There was no fire extinguisher, which was a concern given the electric and the fact that there is another VRBO downstairs. We noticed that under the bed were dozens of packages of tiles and they were covered in spider webs, the extra deep window sills were dusty and very worn looking. There were sugar ants all around the kitchen sink. Mold was growing on various soft surfaces, the bedding was very musty smelling and would have been unusable if we hadn’t been able to sleep with the slider door open and had a strong breeze. Due to these concerns, despite the absolutely magnificent view, we did decide to leave after the first night and stay at another location on the north shore that was a similar cost, paying for two locations for two nights. I immediately messaged the owner through the VRBO app. The next day, after not hearing back, I sent a text to make sure they were aware we left. Three weeks later, I have never heard from the owner. I was refunded my deposit, but nothing for the 2 nights. Of course, the cancellation policy states no refunds less than 60 days out so I wasn't surprised, but had been hopeful. A note about the area. The next town over is basically owned by BYU-be aware it is a dry town, that closes on Sunday. Even the beach! BYOB

Great place to get away

Love this apartment! Came here to get away and have some peace and quiet and this I exactly what I got. View is amazing, food trucks and grocery stores within 5-10 minute drive. Anastasia was very responsive when I had questions and very friendly. Would definitely stay here again!
