This trip turned out amazing the property was fabulous the cabin was nice and cozy, and clean, clean ,clean it was perfect we will come back again, our host Jim and Jane were fantastic Thank you
The cabin was very clean, warm, and inviting. It gave us a great secluded atmosphere, while still providing access to all that Roanoke has to offer. We couldn't have asked for better accomodations.
Wonderfully maintained cabin and grounds and excellent hosts. We found it very peaceful, and perfect for the chance to take in the mountains. We’d definitely pick this spot again!
This property is perfect for a scheduled, peaceful get away! No 'neighbors' in site, no light pollution at night for good viewing of the stars. The owners are wonderful and friendly and the property is very clean and well maintained. Highly recommend!
Absolutely lovely cabin and property! Private, clean, has all the amenities you need. Wonderful time spent on the front porch rockers and the hot tub in the evenings. Hosts are very communicative and the entire profess was easy. Highly recommended if you’re in the Roanoke area. We’ll definitely be back!
Check in was easy with the code .the cabin was very clean and very well supplied with everything needed We enjoyed the hot tub. We were able to relax in the quiet private setting . Can give a high recommendation .
My husband and I stayed for our honeymoon, and it was a wonderful time! The cabin was bigger than we expected it to be- and I wish I could rate 10 stars for cleanliness! Very homey, cozy, and they provided more than what we needed to upkeep the cabin during our week-long stay! Jane informed us all we’d need to bring was food, as far as amenities go, and everything else was provided! We’re both very grateful for the Campbells’ hospitality, and we plan on returning in the future! (P.S. they even let you purchase their own steaks when available, which we thought was very cool)
This cute cottage was perfect for our first night after getting married at a nearby wedding venue at diamond V Farms. Had everything we needed the hot tub was awesome extremely clean and we are very grateful that our mother-in-law booked up for us
My wife and I spent 2 nights for our anniversary - this cabin was a perfect spot! Quiet and secluded- beautiful scenery. Hosts were incredibly helpful and extremely fast in responding questions! Highly recommend!
This was our fourth year celebrating our anniversary at Lazy Creek Cabin and I’m already looking forward to our fifth. Such a lovely place! Thank you for sharing it with us!

About the host
Hosted by Jim and Jane Campbell
We are Jim and Jane Campbell and we have two grown sons. The cabin is located on our farm which is a working farm with Angus cattle. We will sell you a great steak or hamburger that was grass fed right here on our farm. We enjoy being hospitable and will make your stay as relaxing as possible.
Why they chose this property
We decided to build a log cabin on our property because our view is so wonderful and we wanted to be able to share it.
What makes this property unique
We are 1/2 mile off Rt. 460 and close to many restuarants, places to shop, the Peaks of Otter, and Smith Mountain Lake. We have a pond very close to the cabin and there are many places to hike and bike. We love it here on the farm, because the views off the front porch and the many wildlife you see, put us in awe of our Lord Jesus Christ the creator of it all!
