Very beautiful cabin. The only complaint we had was there was ALOT of webs/cobwebs on most of the furniture outside besides that we loved it.

Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry about the cobwebs on the outdoor furniture — we appreciate you letting us know and will address this with our cleaning team. Glad you loved the cabin, and we hope to host you again soon!
Our host was very accommodating even suggesting an additional night at the start of our trip. The home is gorgeous and although our trip was partially rainy we never ran out of things to do. We successfully pulled off Thanksgiving dinner with having to buy or bring a lot of cooking implements. Definitely will rebook!!
This was a great place for our family to get together. The location was great. This cabin offered plenty of space and things to keep everyone entertained and relaxed. I highly recommend.

Beautiful cozy cabin in the woods!
Beautiful cabin with well thought out spaces. Lots of fun touches like the shuffleboard table and the tucked away porch swings, perfect for reading a good book. The property was easy to find and close to restaurants and shopping. This was the perfect place for a relaxing weekend away!

We’re also happy to hear the location was convenient for exploring nearby restaurants and shopping. We’d love to have you back for another relaxing weekend anytime!
This cabin gave us no reason to venture out into town, everything we needed was in the property.

High in the Pines is FABULOUS
Everything about High in the Pines is perfect. It's beautifully furnished. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. The hot tub is great. It was very clean and even though it's big, it still has that cozy feeling. Would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful & Cozy
The house is perfect for any type of family/group stay. It was very beautiful and spacious. The below deck with the “hammock” type swing beds was very amazing for a morning cup of coffee and a book. We enjoy everything about the area! It was our first time coming to Hochatown, and we will definitely be back — with all intentions of staying here again!!! Great memories and place!! Thank you.

Our family had a wonderful time staying at High in the Pines cabin.
Our stay at High in the Pines cabin was wonderful. The cabin and amenities were exactly as advertised. It was great having so many places to gather on the outside decks; our favorites were the individual swings and the couch swings. We enjoyed the fire pit although the path down to it is fairly steep. The cabin location is at the end of the street, so it was very quiet. If you like barbecue, go to Naaman's - it's fantastic!

Girls Trip
We had the best weekend staying at High in the Pines. It was our first time to the area and it was in such a great location to everything we had planned for the weekend. Loved watching the big buck every morning come by eating and just hanging out on the porch. The swings were great too and the outdoor fireplace was a great spot to sit at in the evening. If you have a large group I highly recommend this house at it has so much space. I would recommend to the owners to supply a cookie sheet as I had to go buy one for our baking needs. But overall a wonderful house and trip to the area!

Just do it. You won't be disappointed!
We took my daughter and six of her friends on a graduation trip and they had so much fun. The beds were all very comfortable and we had plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook. They loved the outdoor swings, a little creek, and fire pit. We also were greeted each morning and evening with families of deer. The only thing I would recommend being mindful of is the fire pit is down a steep slope so if you have anyone traveling with you that is elderly or not in good shape it may be a bit of a challenge. Everything else is perfect.

Spacious, Beautiful and Great Location
The home was absolutely beautiful!! It is literally high in the pines with the most incredible views and sits in a cul-de-sac so very quiet area. The home is equipped with almost everything you need including beach towels for the hot tub, small appliances like a waffle maker and baby gate. My kids and grandkids loved the shuffle board, jumbo UNO and pac man video game. The communication from the management was excellent. We loved the wrap around porch and all the special details like porch swings, fire place and seating. Also enjoyed making smores down at the fire pit, note that it is a pretty steep walk to the pit and slippery with falling leaves. However my 75 year old mother made the walk with assistance.

Great for a party of 8! Beautiful decor & very specious & clean!
While the property did accommodate our group of 8 well on beds/bathrooms, there were things we felt fell short. No hangers in closets. No tea pitcher. Not enough silverware. All outside cushions were wet so it was two days before they were dry enough to use. Downstairs outside swinging bed area was too dirty to use. Still would recommend but owners could make a few changes that would make place better.
The home inside was nice and clean. The outside decks and furniture were dirty and stained so bad there were spiderwebs everywhere. We had a family of 12 and there were only eight plates, not enough bakeware to prepare meals. The washing machine was broke, therefore there weren’t enough bathroom towels, or kitchen towels to accommodate 12 people. Two smoke alarms had low batteries therefore the first night the alarms were going off every 30 seconds terrible terrible night. They did send out a maintenance person the next day. Although, we told the maintenance man about the washing machine and no one was ever sent out. Management said they would send someone out to fix it once we checked out…. unacceptable.
