Mindfulness retreat

We were looking for a quiet unplugged weekend away together and this house was just that. Beautifully located house close to everything and anything you could need.

We were coming from NC to the area for a funeral and wanted a place we could stay with our black Labrador Retriever. The house and property were beautiful and supplied everything we would need as if we were home. As this was a difficult weekend, it was so nice we were able to bring our pet. Very reasonably priced. The kcup machine and coffee was also a really nice bonus. Property owner was very receptive and provided detailed instructions and was easy to get a hold of. Would highly recommend.

Really lovely home!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was very clean and comfortable, with spacious bedrooms. The big upstairs bedroom was great for two adults and a small child. The kitchen is lovely with plenty of cookware. The owners responded quickly to any concerns during the stay.

Loved it here!! Great location, super close to supermarkets and outlets. Took advantage of the grill, my cats loved having the enclosed porch. Felt safe in the community too. Check in process went smoothly. Justin was great and provided a lot of helpful information along the way. I do concur with the other review that a bit more kitchen basics would be nice but granted, we did stay for 10 nights so probably why we felt that way. Will definitely come back to this house next time I’m in the poconos!

Lovely home with plenty of room for my family to spread out. Check in time was a bit late to handle as it was around dinner time, but otherwise it was smooth. I do wish there were a few more basic items, like kitchen items, and towels. We managed by doing a fair bit of dish washing and laundry, but it would have been more helpful to have a few more basics. Overall, I would definitely recommend this stay.

House in heart of the Poconos was perfect location for us. All in all we had a very comfortable full week stay and the host communicated very well and was very responsive to issues that arose like hot tub not functioning, lights being out and misc equipment not functioning. Kitchen appliances and the washer and dryer worked great. Hot water at first was an issue for us as the water heater does not really support showers for 4 people taken around the same time so we adjusted our habits accordingly by staggering showers or taking quick ones. Not a real big deal after adjustment but just something to keep in mind. Outside hot tub did not work for us the whole week (the host did send someone to investigate).The first 2 nights we had trouble sleeping downstairs as it was 90 plus degrees during day and the upstairs wall a/c units could not handle the load of cooling the whole house at night. After first 2 days things were better as nights were cooler. FYI - to host's credit he anticipated the heat wave being a concern and supplied a powerful floor fan for first floor and all the rooms do have ceiling fans.Now, attention to detail at this property is somewhat lacking with clear signs of interior and exterior wear and tear, worn area rugs, dust present on furniture/fixtures and outside landscape maintenance and lawn care needing attention.
