Bubbie's Beach House - full RENO

Escape to the beach! Rest, relax, and rejuvenate at the perfectly appointed “Bubbie’s Beach House” on LBI! Our three-story corner lot home has ample parking and is located one block from the ocean.

Enjoy four bedrooms + three full bathrooms. Entertain on any of three decks, including the roof deck with 360° views of the ocean and sunset over the bay. Amenities include six beach passes, fully stocked beach gear (chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, beach carts, beach toys, boogie boards, coolers), bicycles for the family, ping pong and foosball tables. This home is not the typical rental - it is clearly cared for and curated by fellow beach enthusiasts!

There’s little you need to bring except your love of the sun and sand. We supply dishes, flatware, cooking utensils, glassware, linens, blankets, towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, body soap, paper towels, and a baby crib with baby monitor.

House has central air.

NEW IN 2025: to new families, our house has been fully renovated from the studs .. new floors, ceilings, walls, bathrooms, vanities, kitchen, appliances, lighting, colors and furniture. Including a new dual-zone HVAC system. We sustained a total loss over the 2024/25 winter from water damage when a thermostat failed. We took this opportunity to upgrade and modernize everything. This is essentially a brand new home.

Perfect LBI Beach House

It was wonderful to come to LBI and have everything waiting for you - beach gear, bikes, towels, sheets, beach chairs and umbrellas - so vacation could start right away. The beach is a one minute walk away and is a big and comfortable beach. The house is spacious, very comfortable and our family loved it. Check out the sunsets from the roof deck too!!

Excellent Experience

This was our 2nd year staying at Bubbie's Beach House and it was just as wonderful as the first time we were there. The house is clean, spacious, and feels homey! We LOVE the rooftop deck and the short walk to the beach! It's also close to famous Skipper Dippet. Ari is a responsive and friendly owner. We look forward to renting from him in years to come!

Nothing but wonderful memories

Our stay at Bubbie's Beach House was everything we could have wished for. This was the first time we've rented a house at the shore and it was a nerve-wracking experience at first trying to find the best place to accommodate our large and extended family. That is until I spoke to Ari, he was punctual with responses and made us feel like we were an extension of his family. The rental process from start to finish was smooth and glitch-free. The house provided enough bedrooms and bathrooms for a large group and the short walk to the beach made it easy to go back and forth. You won't have to bring a thing either; the garage was filled with an excess of beach chairs, towels, toys, and carts to easily enjoy your beach experience. If you're looking for a quiet and relaxing trip to LBI with your family within steps of the beach, Bubbie's Beach House provides something for everyone in your family. And don't let "quiet" fool you either, you're super accessible to everything. Overall, a great experience!

Best family and friends vacation ever!

Bubbie’s Beach House was the perfect place for our 2 week summer vacation. We are long time LBI visitors and this was our 1st time staying in Beach Haven. Ari was very friendly, communicative, and responsive. For our family of 5 with 3 kids age 8-18, the close proximity to Acme, Skipper Dipper, and Jersey Girl Cafe was so convenient, and convenience is key! We were also close to all the activities we wanted to do - the waterpark, boat tours/jet ski/paddle board/kayak/surfing, and relaxing on the bay and beach. The house had everything we needed and was well cared for and clean. We were able to have family and friends come stay with us during the 2 weeks which was a treat! Some highlights from our stay - nice quiet neighborhood, great rooftop deck for watching meteor showers (incredible!), great deck off the kitchen for grilling and outdoor meals, one short block to the beach (I could watch my youngest walk across the street from the deck), ping pong games, lots of bikes, and lots of board games! The decorations and artwork made us feel like we were in staying in a home where our comfort and enjoyment are a priority. It was also a plus for us that pets are not allowed (even though we love dogs and got to see so many nice ones in the area) because some of us have pet allergies and didn’t want to risk any reactions. We were so fortunate to stay at Bubbie’s Beach House and enjoy this special time. I will be treasuring the memories and looking forward to next year’s visit!

We had a great stay at Bubbie’s Beach house. Everything was as expected and when we did have a slight issue Ari was on it and it was fixed the next day. It was great for multiple families. The location to the beach was great and having all the beach amenities already there was so helpful!! We would definitely recommend this house to others!!

A perfect home for a vacation

We loved the home, location and above all the balconies. The home is equiped with everything you can think of. The ping pong table made our small children excited to use. I loved to sit on the balcony and people watch. The beach was just down the block .

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! 4 adults and 6 kids had plenty of room and never got bored. Everything was there! Beach toys, boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas, wagons, board games, books, game tables, and a variety of bikes! One kid learned to ride without training wheels 🙂. House was spacious and in a great location! Enjoyed beautiful sunrises AND sunsets. Hoping to make staying here a yearly tradition.

A lovely family friendly getaway

We had a great time at Bubbie’s! There were 8 of us including 6 teens and we had plenty of space and never felt cramped. There were loads of bikes beach toys and games which kept our crew entertained. Easy bike ride or short drive to most things. Well stocked kitchen and we really didn’t want for anything. Ari was very responsive and easy to deal with. Definitely recommend this house!

Perfect beach house for a family

We had 7 people in our family. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. The house comes with linens, beach chairs, beach toys, bikes, and anything else you can think of for the beach. This saved us a lot of money from having to rent all of our linens and bikes. It was a turn key rental for us. The kitchen has all updated appliances. It has a large refrigerator which is a necessity for a large family staying for 2 weeks. The grill was a great amenity. We loved the open floor plan with a large family room. It was a great place to watch the World Cup games and movies at night. The outdoor deck faces the ocean so it gets shade from 2 o’clock which makes it a great place for dinning and after beach time reading. There is a ping pong and fooseball table down stairs to keep the kids entertained. The kids loved their bunk room. The roof top deck has amazing 360 views. The house has 3.5 bathrooms which was nice. The kids, my parents and husband and I were all able to have our own. It’s little things like this that make vacation go smoothly. We were sad to see our last rental sold but that saddness quickly turned joy after one day in Bubbie’s Beach house. We hope to stay here for years to come.

Bubbies Beach House was a blast

Our week in July at Bubbies Beach House was the perfect location and accommodations for our extended family vacation. A nice and spacious home. Very well appointed with LOTS of extras. A garage filled with bikes, beach towels, boogie boards, coolers, towels & chairs. Plus 3 buggies to get you and your gang to the beach. Just one block to the ocean, made for easy coming and going durning the day back to the house. The great room and patio are perfect for entertaining. Call me crazy but cooking on vacation is a "thing" for me, and we are a foodie family. The kitchen was well appointed, with everything you would need to cook up a storm. The knives were even SHARP!! The bedrooms were good sized and the master with it's own deck was spacious and lovely for morning coffee. The location on the Island is good, with easy access to the ACME market, Skipper Dipper and Joeys ( best pepperoni pizza on the island) We plan to go back to Bubbies next summer. I have been to LBI every summer for 17 years. We will look no further for our family summer shore house.

Owner was great emailed us with everything we needed to know and checked with us to make sure we had everthing we needed once we arrived the house was nice and clean and only one block from beach stocked with beach gear and towels and kitchen had everything you need we were family of 6 adults and one toddler was perfect size. Would highly recommend and will stay again if we come down again

Bubbie's BEAUTIFUL Beach House

I have rented my share of houses here in LBI and Bubbie's is by the far the BEST I have ever rented. House was very clean! Location is the best! Owner -Ari -is easy to get a hold of -we had one question and one slight problem which he got back to us right away and handled! Beautiful views from the top deck. House is very spacious so you don't feel you are on top of one and other. The rec room was my sons hideout. It actually took us some time to even find the room! We all made use of the bikes! All the amenities that were included were a big plus-beach towels, linens, towels, beach chairs-( the chairs were in fabulous condition) . Umbrellas were also included but we found only two that were useable. Beach tags were provided- which is a big plus and there was even a bottle of wine welcoming us to Bubbie's.! Everyone in my family loved this house and there will not be any other house that I will ever rent except for Bubbie's! Making memories in LBI starts with Bubbie's!

Great House, Great Location and Clean!

This is a great Beach house for families. It has everything you need and then some! Although we brought a lot of our own stuff, it was nice to have extra beach chairs, towels, sand toys and bikes available to use. The home is very clean and well maintained. Perfect location! 4 houses from the beach. 2 streets over from the grocery store and 3 streets over from the best ice cream on the island! The roof top deck is so nice especially at night. We had an amazing time and enjoyed our stay! Definitely recommend!

Great vacation house!

This was our 20+ vacation at LBI - but the first at BBH. This house was great. Very short walk to the beach. Great location - residential area but within walking distance to Skipper Dipper, Acme, Joey's and more! The owner was friendly and punctual. Very smooth rental process. The house was big enough for the whole family and included everything you could possibly need: beach chairs, towels, linens, foosball, ping pong, kites, sand toys, bikes, etc. Highly recommended. We hope to be back next year!!

Great rental close to beach with lots of amenities

We've been returning the Bubbie's Beach house for four years now. We're an extended family with lots of young kids and this house has been ideal, especially located so close to the beach. We've rented several other homes on LBI and this has been our favorite by far. The description and pictures are accurate. The house is well maintained, is large and features a lot of amenities, including beach passes (a big plus). Coming from out of state, we particularly enjoy the beach amenities that we don't have to stuff the car with, such as chairs, umbrellas, toys, towels and beach cruiser bikes. This makes a big difference and most beach houses in our experience do not have these things for renter use. The house is walking distance to many stores, such as Skipper Dipper (no need to deal with parking at this very popular ice cream parlor), a surf shop, Acme, etc. The owner is friendly and responsive to questions/needs. We've never had any issues with the house or appliances. The cleaning staff has always been friendly, but you do need to rely on the previous renters to help keep it clean. We only had one year where we had to wash bath mats upon our arrival. Overall this is a great place and we highly recommend Bubbie's.

I've been living in Philadelphia for over twenty one years, and love how close it is to the beautiful beaches of LBI. I own and manage several Philadelphia properties, as well as the LBI house, and give personal care to each. Having studied Sustainable Design in graduate school (@Jefferson), my focus is bringing consciousness towards a sustainable future.

Why they chose this property

I chose this property over the rest for several reasons. First, the foundation stood out as solid and sturdy. Second, I fell for the corner lot, which provides lots of direct sunlight and ample space for cars. Third, 89th street is a quiet street since it does not pass directly through to LB boulevard. I purchased this property as a family home, we use it in the off-season, so it is filled with nice touches, design elements, and conveniences that translate to a fun, relaxing, and easy time with each visit. Every year, I invest into the home, upgrading where necessary and always making improvements for greater comfort and efficiency. We love this house, and we believe you will too.

What makes this property unique

All three decks stand out as special places to hang out, with the roof deck as extra special since it provides 360 degree views of the island, bay, and ocean. Grab a cocktail, a book, and find your relaxation place. There are a lot of nooks and chill-out spaces. We love the touches of art, sculpture, and fabric to elevate the senses and provide an ease of mind. Your job is to arrive and enjoy the summer pleasures, and we have designed the space to deliver just that!
