House was very cozy. Had some issues with water and the host was extremely quick to come and help out! Very kind. Banana bread was fantastic! I’d stay here again for sure.
Friendly host who even made a fresh loaf of cinnamon bread for our breakfast. Everything was as described. A nice quiet stop to rest for the night on our road trip.
Everything was perfect. The house was adorable and cozy. My 5 year old was obsessed with the loft. Would definitely stay here again. Host was very responsive.
Very cozy & quiet. Would recommend for a couple or family w 1 or 2 older children. Lots of property space outside & walking distance to restaurant/bar & marsh park.
This cozy property was the perfect place to stay to bird the area. It had everything we needed for our overnight stay including great a/c and a sweet treat left by our host. Great communication and easy check in.
Nice home, exactly as described and photographed. Very clean. Floors, plumbing fixtures, appliances, etc were all very good quality and nearly new. Place had a nice character to it !
We did enjoy the overnight stay. The room is rustic but had everything that was needed. The bed is a little lower to the ground. The host communicated nicely and was friendly.
Extremely small place with a small bed and just sorta weird . We walked in looked at the place and walked back out. It wasn’t dirty it just didn’t look comfortable for me being a larger man and was just extremely small overall for the price.
The house was perfect for our mini-vacation of golf and bird-watching. It's small, nicely decorated, and the bed is very comfortable. We also enjoyed the welcome gift loaf of bread for our breakfast. The neighborhood is somewhat rundown but doesn't feel unsafe. We walked to the Bono Tavern for dinner and liked it enough to return for lunch the next day.
This cute cabin was convenient to the marshes for bird watching. The host takes great care of the property - and even left us fresh-baked cinnamon bread as a lovely welcome. The neighbors had a fire in the backyard firepit so we were greeted with campfire smoke making it reminiscent of camping. The water had a metallic smell to it so we skipped showers, but the water pressure seemed good at the sink and everything we did use was in fine working condition. All in all a pleasant one-night stay in a rustic cabin!
What a wonderful stay! There was excellent communication from our host. Check-in was so easy. Everything was extremely clean. Our son absolutely loved the loft! The AC was fantastic. The beds were very comfortable. Very nice outside sitting areas and fire pit. Kitchen had all the dishware we needed. It is in a wonderful location that is central to a lot of the marshes/birding areas. Overall a fantastic place and hoping to book again in the future!
This was our second stay since it's so conveniently located: close to Howard Marsh for biking, bird-watching, and kayaking, close to Maumee Bay State Park for golf and more biking, and only 30 minutes from Toledo (go Mudhens!). The bed's comfortable and the kitchen and living room are cozy, but be aware that the shower stall is tight for a big person. Some nearby houses are unkempt but we didn't mind. We also enjoyed walking to the nearby Bono Tavern, which had great food and very pleasant singers for entertainment. Check-in was easy, communication with the owner was excellent.
The inside of the home was tastefully decorated and comfortable. Hosts left a welcome message and baked treat for breakfast. Hosts communicated very well.
A few concerns include tiny ants in kitchen and living room. On counters, table, couch and climbed on us and in our belongings, very few privacy curtains with proximity to neighbors, rundown neighborhood.
