Are you fed up with the hustle and bustle of the noise and confusion in and around the town of Nantucket? Are you missing the quiet peaceful times you experienced as a kid or if this is your first time to the island and are looking for a place to relax?

Please Check out “Corkish Cottages” and experience the “Peace and Quiet” that has surely faded away from many parts of the island. Listen to the birds instead of the cars whizzing by. Don’t worry about the safety of your kids or your pets playing in the yard. At night look into space at all the stars that are now visible without all the light pollution of town. Remember this is where Maria Mitchel made her discoveries.

Very private, quiet and relaxing cottage sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms. Two bedrooms have 2 twins in each. The master bedroom has a king bed and a private bathroom with a stall shower. The main bathroom has a shower/tub unit. There is a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave and full size refrigerator. The pots, pans, dishes, utensils etc are supplied. There is a comfortable living room with tv. There are 2 large sundecks. One deck has a gas ignited charcoal grill. There is a washer & dryer. Linens are supplied including 6 beach towels. Property is located far off of the main road in the woods. Perfect place to relax and get away from it all.

We loved our stay at Snape. It was a 5 minute drive to the most beautiful beach on the island and was very close to many walking trails. It was so clean and comfortable. We stayed at another dog-friendly place on island, and it doesn’t compare to the cleanliness and comfort of Snape. We would definitely stay again.

If your looking for a quiet place to stay you’ll enjoy this cottage. Quiet, beautiful surroundings yet not that far from the beach and town. Great deck to sit out and have your morning coffee and just relax. It was everything we hoped for.

This vacation rental has the ultimate privacy. It is at the end of a road and no neighbors to be seen or heard. Wonderful decks to relax on both front and back of house so you could always find a shady spot. Upon arrival, we found the inside to be spotless and well equipped. What a great spot!

We really enjoyed our time at Snipe. The cottage was larger than we expected, clean and incredibly private. The owner's couldn't have been nicer and we learned that if something goes wrong with your iPhone while you're there, their son runs the best phone repair business on the island!

Classic ACK Cottage

Great place if you love the natural surroundings that make ACK so special, without the sound of cars and other people. We aren't "go-to-town" for dinner and shop people. We spend most of time on the beach on Great Point. Classic cottage with open space and room for everyone to be together in the morning and end of day when we got back form Great Point. Comfortable chairs, beds, and a well equipped kitchen. We love to fish and love to cook so something is always happening in the kitchen. Snipe exceeded our expectations.

We loved Snipe! Peaceful and everything we needed

Snipe was perfect for us. We had our two teens, each with a friend, and our dog. The bed arrangements were ideal and it had all the amenities we needed without being too fancy to get comfortable. The setting is very peaceful and a short bike ride to Quidnet beach. It's right on the bike path and the shuttle route which our daughter and her friend loved. It allowed them to be independent while we went for longer bike rides or relaxed. This is truly a very special place to stay and get away!
