One of the best VRBO I've rented

This was an outstanding rental property. From sharp knives in the drawers to bathtub drains that worked to comfortable beds, it is thoughtful in its furnishings and well maintained. Highly recommended.

Perfect stay!

Our party of 5 had a wonderful stay! The house was clean, comfortable and perfectly located (about a 20 min walk outside of town and right next to the bike path and bus stop). Communication was easy. Highly recommend it!

Best Nantucket Trip Ever

We have traveled to Nantucket for many years. This year, our usual rental was no longer available. This house was PERFECT— well stocked and maintained, GREAT location. We had a wonderful week.

Home away from Home on Nantucket

Our family of six stay here the week of Thanksgiving every years and it is ideal. Charming, comfortable, well equipped, spacious and walking distance to everything and the owner/ manager are nice to work with. We will be back again next year.

Great location close to town and beaches!

I recently stayed at this property with my husband and two young kids. The house was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. It was a good size house and the location was ideal. I walked to town a couple of times and grabbed coffee/breakfast at two nearby coffee shops every morning which were a 2-3 min. walk. Surfside beach is a 5-6 min. drive. The bike/running path is outside the door and there is a bike shop about a 5 min. walk from the house. Also, the Stop and Shop is only a 3 min. drive for last minute items. Overall, we had an excellent stay and would highly recommend this house for your stay on Nantucket!

Memorable Family Vacation

The house was in a great location, was clean, and was exactly as shown in the photos. Plenty of dishes, cookware, towels, etc. - everything you could possibly need. It was a delayed Christmas present/family vacation for all 7 of us (6 adults + a 1-year-old), and we had a great time. Plenty of room. Would definitely book here again! (Probably the only minor "complaint" was that the mattress in the downstairs bedroom may need to be replaced - was a bit too soft.) Thank you, Peter, for making this a memorable time for us!

Fair priced house

Pros: Clean, really hot water, great water pressure. Heating system worked well. Beds comfortable. Cons: Shabby; everything could use an upgrade. Dishes chipped, cracked, appliances need to be replaced. location not great without transportation. 25 min walk into town. Wound up taking Uber a lot. Construction on street whole week and backyard being dug up for another building during week. I do not believe there will be much of a backyard beyond patio in future. Not stocked in any way: 3 rolls of toilet paper for 2 bathrooms. No tissues, no basics like coffee, sugar, etc. which my other rentals have provided. overall: for the price it was worth it. There is an additional cottage to rent if you had more people. Your own car would make it more ideal. There are beach towels and chairs if weather good.

August stay

We had a lovely time. House was as described. Plentiful towels for beach and shower. The only issue is that it was somewhat bare-bones on some supplies, within two days of arriving we ran out of toilet paper and when we asked for more we were told they do not stock extra toilet paper. A little surprising but otherwise a great house.

Great location, easy walk into town. Twin beds are very uncomfortable, clearly very old. Outdoor shower not very clean. Upstairs shower had a slow drain. But otherwise a decent space.

Good location

The house is in a great location to everything we needed. There is a great outdoor shower which is a must have. One pitfall was the lack of paper goods upon arrival. Though Peter quickly remedied. One thing they need to add is a more private area out back with a more comfortable situation to hang out for coffee. The old oil tank out back is a real eye sore. Overall our stay was a good one.

Perfect house for a family vacation

What a wonderful house for a 2 week vacation for us and our adult children! The house was bright, clean and very well equipped. The location was perfect for us, walkable to town, close to the grocery store and on the Surfside bike path. Communication with the owners was excellent. Loved every minute there.

Great stay in Nantucket

The house was clean, comfortable and the location can't be beat - on the bike path with close proximity to town and several beaches, airport, etc. It's within walking distance to a great coffee shop, wine shop and bike rental company (which also delivers). The house was well equipped for cooking and relaxing, too, with beach towels, chairs and toys for my daughter. Check-in was simple and Peter was very responsive to all of our inquiries prior to arrival. Thanks for a great stay. We hope to come back again.

Even better than advertised

My family of 6 enjoyed Thanksgiving week at this ideal and charming home. Frankly, I was not sure being so close to an often busy road would work well for us but you could not hear the car noise at all from the house that is set back from the road and it was as easy walk to town. House is warm, comfortable and fully equipped and the owner a pleasure to work with. Also across the street from the school with playing fields, ice skating and great Thai food. I highly recommend this rental.

Affordable Nantucket Home

More in line with hotel pricing than much of Nantucket, we found this Surfside home pleasant and a good value. Excellent communication by Peter. Very strong shower pressure. Plenty of games, puzzles and beach gear throughout. Bike rental just down the street. Easy walk to town. Our only knock would be that the house temperature was in the 50’s when we arrived and it took us the better part of 2 days to get it right as there are thermostats in every single room of the house.
