The host was fantastic to communicate with, had responses almost immediately to most issues or questions. My two big concerns were 1) the beds were very, very firm (maybe just a my preference thing, but I slept poorly because of the overly firm beds) and 2) we found critter droppings in the kitchen. The managers were great about the critters, said they trapped on the week before, and they pointed out that with the harvest coming in that it's hard to keep critters out. I def understand that, and they offered to come put in traps that evening but we opted to just finish out the stay. Might be an issue if we were staying longer. The other kinda minor thing was that the listings weren't totally accurate with bedroom spaces. One bedroom was supposed to have a king bed and that wasn't present during our stay. I also understood one of the bedrooms to have a twin bunk, but instead the bedroom layout was (1) Queen single twin, (2) Queen, (3) Queen single twin, (4 Basement), Queen, Twin bunk beds, Queen. It worked out for our group, but just something to note. Like I said, the mangers were great to communicate with, love that it was themed to remember someone important, but the couple issues were worth noting.

Going Home

We all enjoyed our stay. Great for our extended family. Location was fantastic and the air conditioning had us cool and collected. We loved the history and my mother-in-law felt like she was home. (She grew up near Courtland) Would recommend

Ladies Weekend

The host were great with their communication. The home is at the main intersection in the town with stop signs. I think every male that drives through town has a diesel truck which wakes you up all night. The matresses are very hard and uncouncomfortablelyachlead to a sleepless night. THhe

Fantastic property to stay at especially if you have a large group! Communication with our hosts great and they responded promptly to any questions. We will definitely stay there again if we are down that way and in need of a VRBO! Thank you.
