Great home and neighborhood

Wonderful place to stay while visiting family in the area. Well appointed, clean and comfortable beds! We mostly used it as a home base before heading out. Plenty of spots nearby to grab coffee and something to eat/ drink on way out and back.Easy communication with hosts to ask questions during the stay.

Great little duplex . The walls are thin so you hear everything from the neighbors house the shared wall must be very thin or no insulation. The first two nights was great the other side was empty. The 2 beds in 2 middle room are firm The king bed in master is very soft. The TV in master would not turn on but not a big deal we used the living room TV (very big & nice) The mini split AC units in each room made it AMAZING, We could have individual temperature to sleep. They work amazing they will freeze you out. It was so nice having the mini splits in each room. Parking is crazy and very steep my Dodge 1500 4 door truck was hard to park not kiddingThe smaller suv and cars are much easier and more ideal for this parking space. The hot water was great and water pressure for showers was nice. Tub we could not get it to work so we didnt get to enjoy the tub. Bathroom is tiny but functional NO counter space for woman toiletries. No blow dryer provided so bring one. Only 4 towels are provided.We stayed 6 nights a full week.

The host was easy to communicate with and very responsive. The house is in a perfect location! Whittier itself has a lot to offer from dining to parks to history but it is also easy access to routes leading to LA. When wanting lazy days at home the house was cozy and comfortable. I was with my teenage son and this house provided enough personal space. The neighborhood is safe and neighbors are friendly.
