Welcome to our newly renovated and professionally designed family-owned Villa in the world-famous Windsor Hills Resort — the closest resort to Disney that's not a Disney hotel! This is our personal vacation home, not a generic rental, or corporation like others around. Unlike many others, we own ONE home here. We spend time here, we sleep here, we eat here and we proudly share it with families looking for comfort, safety, and a premium experience!

Our home features 5 bedrooms, each with its own private en-suite bathroom, smart TVs in every room, and two convenient first-floor suites with walk-in showers. The home includes a fully equipped kitchen, large dining area, workstation with sit/stand desk, fast WiFi, Washer and dryer, pool towels, linens and pillows and plenty of children’s supplies including toys, high chair, pack ’n play, and fort-building blocks.

Relax in your private south-facing 28’ x 14’ pool and spillover spa—always FREE heated—with color-changing lights, a shaded lanai, loungers, outdoor dining, and a unique bottom privacy screen (rare in Windsor Hills). Newly remodeled pool surface in Summer 2025 with a deep blue color! None other like it in Windsor Hills! If you have ever been to a Florida Springs this is how the pool looks with its deep blue color. Pool heater upgraded to 135K BTU unit Dec 2025! Most heaters are 115K BTU or less. We go above and beyond because we use it too! An undersized pool heater will struggle to keep the pool and spa warm. A child-safe pool alarm and custom tan safety fence offer extra peace of mind.

Enjoy our Indiana Jones–themed game room with billiards, magnetic fort building blocks for the kids and its separate A/C control for comfort. Also located in the game room is a washer and dryer with complimentary pool towels.

As our registered guests, you receive FREE access to all Windsor Hills Resort amenities: the zero-entry lagoon pool, water slides, splash pad, fitness center, movie theater, pickleball court, volleyball court, basketball court, ping pong table, playgrounds, arcade, and crafts put on by the staff. Wristbands are free for all registered guests; unregistered visitors pay $10/day.

Windsor Hills is the closest resort to Disney that is not an actual Disney hotel. Windsor Hills is approximately 2.5 miles from Disney. With staying here for extended time we can tell you that a few extra miles can take hours sometimes to travel because of traffic, long traffic lights, parking and lack of infrastructure. Please take this into consideration when looking at places to stay especially in busy times around the holidays. A few extra miles can take valuable time away from your vacation.

Starting December of 2025 we have implemented a plan to give back to others by donating 10% of the "rent only" portion that we charge to charity. Your vacation directly helps others in need! We have been blessed and it is our honor to help others!

We are always available by phone or email during your stay and our local family owned property manager is available 7 days a week if any issues arise.

Great villa in a fantastic location

Location Location Location!

The villa is superbly located, the nearest Disney park being 10 mins away and Universal only 30 minutes. The villa itself was clean and beautiful. It was stocked with everything we could have needed - the board games were a fantastic touch. Our little man was super excited to find American ticket to ride! We would happily return for another visit 😊

Beautiful home and perfectly stocked!

My family of six had an amazing stay at this beautiful home. Everything was so clean and stocked with extras that we were so impressed that we will be rebooking for next year. We typically like to try a different home every year but after finding this gem I see no reason to stay anywhere else!

Beautiful villa in a great location

We had a fantastic time staying in Sean and Rachel’s villa. The villa was clean and spacious. A minor issue with the pool was quickly sorted when we reached out to both the owners and the management company. The villa is in a fantastic location to reach both Disney and Universal theme parks and other local restaurants and amenities. Our kids loved the pool and were in almost every day. The colour changing lights were a hit with our eldest! They also loved the local splash pad/water park. The villa was a great size for our party of 7. We had an amazing vacation and cannot wait to come back to Florida - thank you Sean and Rachel!

Lovely stay !

Had a brilliant stay in this lovely Villa. Spacious and everything provided, the children particularly enjoyed the selfie room and the games room, although the adults equally enjoyed a game of pool when the children were tucked up in bed asleep! The Villa is perfectly situated for Disney, but had easy access to all the roads leading to the Parks. A large Walmart with petrol station is just down the road. The Villa community is safe and has 24/7 security on the gates. We were sad that we were so busy out and about that we didn’t take advantage of the Community splash pool where you can also find a cinema, games room and lovely little Bar and Grill. Many thanks to Sean and Rachel for letting us stay in their lovely Villa - we will be back ! 😀 xx

This is a GEM of a house

Our family absolutely loved our time at this house. The house was perfect for our family of 10. We enjoyed the spacious kitchen and living area, the coffee nook, the games room, and especially the pool/spa. The main clubhouse was also great but we actually spent most of our time in the backyard at this property given how nice and spacious it was. A bonus was the proximity to Disney. We were able to take our two toddlers back to the house midday for a break given it was only 10-15 minutes each way. Groceries/Restaurants are accessible and close by. We will stay here again if we can!

Perfect vacation home!

Our family had a wonderful stay at Son light living. We have stayed in many vacation homes and this was by far the nicest! The house was immaculate , and plenty of space for everyone. The game room, selfie room, and heated pool was a huge hit with our family! The themed rooms are amazing, even our older kids loved it! The location of the house is not far from the community pool and slides which made for a nice walk. Sean and Rachel are excellent hosts, very easy to communicate with and answered any questions I had right away, even offered some great suggestions for the area. We highly recommend staying here and will definitely be coming back!

You can’t loose with this house

I do not leave reviews but, after renting many homes in the last five years, I had to. If you want a vacation home that you can enjoy with your family, this is it. Communication was wonderful, the house is impeccably clean, and the family game room will save your vacation on an unfortunate weather day. It was enough to get my teenage daughter to put her phone done and enjoy some quality time! The location is great if you want to venture out to the parks or other activities and the house is so thoughtfully designed and equipped that you can also just stay and relax without feeling like you’re missing out. The pool area is also a great space with room for everyone. For the first time there were no disappointments and we will definitely be back!

Enjoyable by all

our family arrived to a lovely christmas tree ready for decorations. Santa had sent a letter telling our 8 year old granddaughter he knew where she was. This house has been done so well for family visitors. The couch is a winner and very well appointed in the kitchen. Comfortable home with room for everyone

This was a great home with plenty of space for everyone. The kids loved the pool, game room and resort slides/pool/splash pad. Beautiful property

We had a fantastic stay at Son Light Living in August! Such a beautifully decorated property with lots of little attention's to detail! We found we had a great base for those up and out early park mornings but also a great space to unwind whilst the coffee brewed on those slower days! The outside dining/seating area is also beautiful for those lazy evening whilst watching the children play in the pool complete with colour changing lights! Fabulous Holiday Home!!

There is not much that this house doesn’t have. It really is perfect in terms of facilities provided. Clean, Comfortable, luxurious. Great outdoor Pool, Hot Tub and seated area. Great Games room. Beds really comfortable. No shortage of TVs. Superb kitchen/dining/living area with all necessary equipment. 10 mins from Disney, 25 mins from Universal so great location. Large Walmart within walking distance. Great supply of towels and super laundry facilities. great system for bin collection. 24hr Security gate at entrance. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Lovely homely villa

I chose this villa as it looked like a home. You can see the care and thought that has gone into the choice of decor, furniture and amenities and in reality it's much better than the photos suggest. The heated pool and hot tub were a big bonus and got a lot of use. We wanted for nothing, there was plently of corckery and all the kitchen appliances you could think of (albeit we didn't cook so nothing was used). The location is also great with numerous restuarants and fast food places within a few minutes. Rachel and Sean were also great hosts, their communication was excellent and it felt like they cared about us having a comfortable stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home to comfortably house a large family

The Son Light living home is very clean and beauty updated. Every bedroom has their own bathroom for convenience. The pool and spa is great to jave right out the back door. The gameroom wich has been converted from the garage is air conditioned and absolutely fabulous! Every detail has been thought through from all the kitchen appliances to the pool towels. You wont regret booking here! The owners seem so kind and their communication is great! Dont forget to take a selfie! The selfie room is adorable!

Amazing!!!

We had high expectations of the property prior to arriving having seen the images but nothing could have prepared us for what we found upon arrival, the property is everything the images show plus so much more besides... A "home away from home" is what we all look for when away on our travels and with this villa the expression has never been more appropriate, the attention to detail that the owners have put into the place is incredible... The property is such a welcoming space, very modern, clean and so well thought out. The inventory of items supplied is incredible, anything you can think of is already there... From start to finish, the contact and response times we had with the owners were excellent. I cannot say enough positive things about the property or hosts.. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a 1st class property rental within what is a very crowded marketplace to consider Son Light Living...

Perfection in Florida

We stayed for one week at Son Light Living for our family's first Florida vacation! The house was everything we expected and more. You could instantly tell the amount of thought that went into setting up and decorating the house! The extra starter packs that were left were also substantial, making for a very comfortable and easy stay. The house was very clean and organized, and communication for the booking and stay was very easy and prompt. The welcome gift was also a wonderful surprise, and we loved going to the grill one day for snacks and ice cream! Besides the house having everything you could want, the neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. The house was also very close to Disney with minimal time spent to get there. My kids are already asking to go back to Florida and Son Light Living! We were honored to be the first guests and would love to return!

Wonderful Time! Great place!

We came to Orlando for our first Disney World trip. After searching many vacation rentals we decided on Son Light Living and I'm so glad we did! 1) It was very close to all the parks at Disney World. No more then a 20 minute drive. Easy to get in and out of the resort. 2) Check in was very easy. Communication with the owners was awesome. They responded to all my question very quickly. 3) The house was perfect. It was very clean. The kitchen was well-stocked and the coffee pot made excellent coffee (which is super important for me! lol) The beds were extremely comfortable. If you have older folks in your party the two adult bedrooms on the first floor have walk in showers which was perfect for our group. The kids adored the two bunk rooms. And i really appreciated the camping bathroom having a removable handheld shower head. Perfect for washing kids hair! The star of the show was the heated pool and spa. The kids loved the pool and the adults loved the spa! Thank you so much for providing this wonderful vacation rental and helping make our first Disney World trip a success! We hope to be able to come back! PS- The selfie room was so fun! Make sure to do it!

THIS IS A TERRIFIC HOUSE! Amazing owners and property management, your family will love it!

You and your family will love this terrific house! The owners and property management team went OVER and ABOVE with their service, kindness and support through our booking and stay at Son Light Living. The house is very well laid out for a large group and the patio and pool are EVERYTHING. We lived out there! The heated pool makes all the difference, the kids were in it constantly and we were too! The spa got quite hot and we enjoyed our relaxing dips in it. It is obvious the owners took a lot of care and thought when planning the furnishings and design of the home. All the extra touches that a typical rental wouldn't have, they included. The kitchen was very well outfitted for cooking, baking, etc. The rooms were well equipped and included extras as far as textures, throws and pillows. Everyone was obsessed with the huge sofa as well! We could all fit, it was comfortable and the flip up headrests were a big win for our crew. We loved popping into the coffee and tea station in the morning to relax and enjoy our morning brew. The themed rooms were a win with our kids. My son is obsessed with orcas and aquatic life so he was loving his room upstairs. My niece also loved her camping room and that top bunk created an imagination of a tree house and a camping trip, it was very cute. The owners also went above and beyond having a Christmas tree ready upon our arrival and a special note from Santa. With 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, everyone is comfortable, can rest well and getaway if need be. Beds were good and we slept well. The Indiana Jones room was fun and we played some pool in there and used the card games. It was also a great TV flex space for us. The resort is excellent for kids and the activities offered were perfect for my niece. There are also lovely themed playgrounds for kids which are excellent. The area is very clean and well maintained. We spend four weeks in the home and had a wonderful, relaxing stay. This home is a great option for being close to the amusement parks, but still able to shop at Walmart and Publix for your groceries and save on food costs. It's also a getaway to something more quiet and peaceful after long days at the tourist spots. I would highly recommend Son Light Living for your stay, if you are lucky enough that is available to book.

As owners we are personally involved in all aspects of operations to ensure each guest is provided a clean, safe and comfortable place to stay. We strive to provide our guests with an exceptional experience focused on guest safety and comfort. Our Villa offers a luxurious, clean, comfortable stay. We offer amenities for all ages from babies to grandparents.

Our minimum guest stay has been changed to 7 nights. What we have found speaking with others is that high turnover properties are more apt to become damaged from quick turnover. Having a 7 day minimum helps keep our property in top condition and your vacation trouble free.

Many more are managed by large property managers that do not care. Most set profits above people. When looking at a home to rent please ask how many other homes do you own or manage? Please make sure any home that you rent has a pool alarm! Your family safety and security is worth a few questions.
