Great getaway! We loved all of the discoveries to be made both in the cabin and on the property. We stayed in Stella. It was adorable, functional, and very welcoming. We also enjoyed an outing to Kennebec Maine Cabin Masters only 20 min away!
Quiet clean and cozy cabin ten minutes from Augusta. Has everything you need, AC, internet, TV, kitchen and a bonus hot tub. Trails lead you to a secluded pond with canoes, kayaks and paddle boards. Check-in was super easy. Would absolutely stay here again. 5 stars!
Wonderful stay. Small studio cabin was well equipped and had lots of extras. We appreciated the smores supplies, wood supply, treats, extra chairs and extra bedding for a third guest, fan, and a/c. Plus a nice hot tub, trails, axe throwing, wood fired pizza oven, and tiki bar. Plus use of kayaks and canoe. This place is its own destination!
We really enjoyed Stella! So comfy and clean. You can really do a lot with the kitchen and 3/4 fridge/freezer. You can tell the owners put a lot of thought into your comfort. You will not be disappointed.
Very sweet cozy little cabin, with a nice balcony and view, the trails are cool and lead to a variety of interesting sites. Really enjoyed coffee on the deck this morning over the pond, the hot tub was just the right size and a nice touch to the evening
Sherri has thought of everything preparing this delightful studio! It was a perfect size for our quick trip with two medium sized dogs. Plenty of space for us to relax and prepare and enjoy meals. Perfectly appointed with essentials and so many surprises to make the stay even more special. The trails around the property provided ample opportunity to ensure the dogs were exercised on our trip. And the location would have been perfect to use as a base for exploring the region had we stayed longer. Wonderful and communicative host and terrific accommodations…you will not be disappointed!
We had an Amazing trip. The cabin was so cozy and built with incredible craftsmanship. Sherri was such a gracious host!

About the host
Hosted by Sherri Simmons
Sherri and Joel are lifelong Mainers who love the outdoors and believe some of life's best moments happen when you slow down and spend time in nature.
Sherri is a middle school math teacher with a passion for designing and building unique tiny cabins. What began as a single cabin project in 2020 quickly grew into a dream. In 2022, they purchased 100 wooded acres so they could continue creating one-of-a-kind getaways where guests can unplug, reconnect, and experience the beauty of Maine.
Each cabin is thoughtfully designed and handcrafted, with custom details inspired by the surrounding forest. From natural wood accents to cozy gathering spaces, Sherri's goal is simple: to create places that feel welcoming, peaceful, and memorable.
Joel works as a labor relations specialist and helps bring the projects to life, while together they enjoy sharing their little corner of Maine with guests from near and far.
We hope you'll love your stay as much as we've loved creating it.
