Newly remodeled! Directly Across the Street from the Gulf of Mexico! 2 BR + Sleeper Sofa and 1.5 BA, + Outdoor Shower, fully stocked kitchen with bar, warm and inviting great room for family movie nights, second-level cottage.

This beautiful cozy cottage home has everything you need to have a relaxing and memorable getaway! Upon entering, is a welcoming and warm great room with a large screen smart TV, Cable and High Speed WIFI, sofa sleeper (sleeps 2 children), multiple seating with direct views of the stunning Gulf of Mexico sunsets.

The kitchen has new black appliances, refrigerator has smart box to play your favorite music on Spotify, etc. dining table and chairs, and a kitchen bar. The kitchen is well equipped with all necessary cookware, bakeware, and grilling supplies to cook great family dinners and make lasting memories.

Bedroom one is a beach themed room with rustic full size dresser, queen size bed, closet, Flat Screen TV, with a built in work desk and chair and newly laminated floors. Sleeps 2.

Bathroom one has a newly retiled full shower with a bathtub, toilet and sink.

Bedroom two also is a beach themed room with a rustic full size dresser, a queen size bed, closet, flat screen tv and a patio door out to the terrace. Sleeps 2.

Bathroom 2 has a toilet and a sink, and outside has an outdoor shower. So this makes it a 2 bathroom with 2 showers.

The deck has a gas grill for evening barbeques, plus an outdoor eating area polywood table and 4 chairs, 2 Adirondack Chairs with a table in front for viewing the stunning sunsets. The decking was just replaced with composite decking. The railings were just freshly painted white.

Anna Maria has been voted Best Beach by numerous publications because of its pristinely clean and clear turquoise waters, deep blues and greens, no fast food chain restaurants, 5 star restaurants like The Waterfront, beach cocktail bars, quaint family owned cafe's and restaurants make it a favorite for anyone who has ever come here!

Walk across the street for a beach day on the Gulf of Mexico, or hop in the golf cart and go to any of these beaches nearby:

Anna Maria Island Beach, Holmes Beach, Coquina Beach, Bradenton Beach, Bean Point or Manatee Public Beach.

The wrap around balcony is perfect for relaxing or grilling or enjoying your favorite drink while watching the amazing sunsets.

Laundry area provides washer and dryer, as well as beach chairs, beach umbrella, wagon, and plenty of towels and beach towels for your stay. Two parking spaces available. One with Golf Cart. You don't need to rent a car here, the Golf Cart or the Trolley or Monkey Bus take you anywhere you want to go!

Perfect Island Vibe

This cottage is perfect. Steps from the beach! Old school updated. We love the traditional cottages vs the monster new houses that mix up the island vibe. Super clean..even the windows. Neighborhood is quiet and friendly. The balcony is perfect for sunsets and dinner. The furniture and beds are comfy. Well stocked for four. This area is our favorite part of the island.

Mermaid Retreat

This is a fantastic location. Maybe 50 yards to the beach and walking distance to restaurants, pharmacy, grocery and just about anything you will need on this beautiful island. The condo itself is magnificent. Everything you need for cooking, sleeping, relaxing on the deck, going to the beach is there for you. You will never find a place better equipped or cleaner than Mermaid Retreat!

Perfect Getaway

The Mermaid Retreat was absolutely perfect for our 4th of July vacation. The property was the cleanest of places we’ve ever stayed and had everything we needed. Plenty of dishes and cooking essentials, towels, chairs, wagon, and umbrellas. The walk to the beach is literally out the door and across the street. The beach is never crowded and the sunsets are always beautiful! Communication with Darren was aways quick. He even offered to fix an issue we ran into that he didn’t even have to do. He’s the absolute best host! Thank you Darren for making our stay rememberable! I will definitely stay here again next year!

With Tampa 50 minutes away, Nordstroms, Dillards and Macy's with fantastic restaurants and museums and art galleries all in close proximity. Sarasota and Long Boat Key offer incredible water views and are just minutes away on a scenic drive. You will leave a different person, relaxed, happy and fulfilled.

The best thing about this property is its location! Right Across the street from the Gulf of Mexico, doesn't get better than that! Close to Publix, Walgreens, Skinny's Hamburgers, Many Beaches, Restaurants casual and formal, shops and Ice Cream Parlors. Skirt around the town in the golf cart and see the eclectic houses all over Anna Maria. Go to dinner at The Beach Restaurant minutes away and have dinner with your feet in the sand on the beach. Take your kids to Mode Aquarium to see the adorable River Otters! Manatees, Alligators and more! Ride Horseback in the water during the sunset!
Your imagination can go wild with ideas of things to do here. Never a dull moment!!
