This spectacular 4-bedroom 2-bathroom house is just a short walk (10 minutes) to one of the most beautiful, private ocean beaches in the Hamptons. If you prefer to drive, we provide you with a coveted beach parking pass! The house is modern and spacious with cool ocean breezes and plenty of natural light. Spacious cathedral ceilings, skylights and two wrap-around outdoor decks with ample seating for entertaining, watching the sunsets or looking at the stars. The Town of Montauk is located 2 miles from our house, the closest beach (private) is 0.5 miles from our house, and Gurney's Resort & Seawater Spa is 1.2 miles from our house.

On the first level there is a large sitting area with a couch and chairs surrounded by three large sized bedrooms and a full bathroom. One of the bedrooms has two large windows, a queen bed and overlooks the side yard. One bedroom has twin beds and four large windows that overlook the front porch and a beautiful flower garden. The other bedroom has five large windows and twin beds that overlooks the front and side yards. All bedrooms have full sized closets. Another full sized closet with games, books, and toys as well as a fully stocked linen closet located on this level.

The second level offers a large main room including a wood burning fireplace, large kitchen, living area and TV. It also offers a dining area for eight and surrounding windows, glass doors and skylights offering plenty of natural light and cool breezes.

There is a wrap around deck off this level with chairs/umbrella for additional seating of twelve.

Also, on this level is the master bedroom with another spacious deck with views of the entire yard. It includes a private bathroom.

There is a private enclosed outdoor shower that is great after the beach and a circular pebbled driveway that fits six cars. The basement has space for storage and a new washer/dryer.

This vacation house is located on a hillside with splendid open views from its decks. It is nestled in the Hither Hills area of Montauk, which is known for its charm, quiet, and surf.

You can walk to the ocean beach with your surfboard or beach gear in under 7 minutes or else drive down and park in any one of 5 private parking areas on the dunes. Renters will be given a key and parking pass for the private beach entrances for Hither Hill's homes part of MBPOA's association.

The house is just minutes from Gurney's world-class spa and less than two miles to the town of Montauk with great restaurants and Hamptons nightlife.

This was a wonderful house, perfect for our family of eight during an extended weekend stay. It was super clean, comfortable, and in a great location, just minutes from both the ocean beach and town. The kitchen was well equipped for family meals, and the two living room areas were spacious, allowing family members to use different areas of the house for TV time and board game time. This house also gets a lot of natural light from many windows and sliding glass doors, making it feel especially bright. We will be back for sure.

Very comfortable house - felt like home! We experienced all weather in 4 days- hot & humid and cold & rainy. Lots of windows make it bright and warm, even when it's rainy. Very comfortable beds. Kitchen is well-stocked with dishes and cooking utensils etc. Highly recommend it.

Perfect summer house!

We rented this house for June and July of this year and we loved staying there. It was the best set up. Four bedrooms, two living areas (one downstairs, one upstairs), master suite upstairs, great open kitchen/living area and a wrap around upper deck that was perfect for hosting barbeques after a long day at the beach! It's less than 10 minute walk to a private access beach, less than 5 minute drive to town and the train and on a very quiet dead end street. It's up in the hills so in the summer you get a cool breeze all night but you can still hear the waves crashing on the beach. Hither Hills is our favorite area in Montauk and Stephanie and Tom (owners) were amazing and great to rent from! Stephanie had everything laid out ahead of time (bills, instructions, etc) so it was all very easy. We had a great summer there! Thank you, Stephanie and Tom!

We had a lovely stay at the house - it was well laid out, well stocked and immaculate. Easy check in. Plenty of space for our group of 3 adults and 3 children. Great location close to beach, village and local activities. Gorgeous quiet neighborhood.

Beautiful, clean house however not the best for the vertically challenged!

The house was beautiful and very clean. The property manager was easy to work and always responded to emails in a timely manner. We did have some issues with the very tall cabinets. Very difficult to reach plates, bowls, glassware, etc. Even though a step stool was provided, it was still not very easily accessible for a couple of ladies in their upper 50’s and 60’s who are all under 5’5” tall. Another issue was that there wasn’t a pantry closet for storage for all of the food that we brought with us for the weekend. We had to leave everything in bags on the floor. Regardless of these minor issues, I would definitely recommend this rental.

Cozy Montauk Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at this home. The pictures accurately represent it. We very much enjoyed the fireplace, but you'll need to go get your own wood. We would love to come back in the summer as the house is close to the beach, equipped with coolers, bikes, beach chairs and more.
