Hook & Hunt offers a gateway to the outdoors in Silt, CO. 3 minutes from the Colorado River boat ramp, mountain biking trails, four wheeling, horse back riding, hiking, rafting, hunting, and just about any Colorado activity you can think up.
Our spacious house gives you a retreat to relax after busy days in the mountain sun. Kick your feet up or relax on the back patio watching the stars come out in the western slope. 6 beds that sleep 7 people along with options for up to 10 guests.
Master bedroom (king bed) and full bathroom. Bunk beds (full beds) and twin trundle (Mattress in closet). Double twin beds in third bedroom. Second full bathroom located in the main hallway.

Nice place, great location

Very nice place, great location with easy access. Stayed here for one night as we were passing through from Rifle Falls to Hanging Lake. Highly recommend.

This place was perfect for location. Located in a quiet area, but near the interstate. The place was clean and comfortable and had plenty of sleeping options. Simple layout and overall an amazing stay.

Ski vacation

This was a great place for us to stay because it put us between Sunlight Mountain and Powderhorn Mountain for skiing, had a good bedroom layout for our group, and gave us the ability to make meals rather than eat out. The place was clean and spacious as well, and the host was very prompt to answer any questions.

Location In town was good but will most likely not stay again. Very minimal amenities that most places have. I have lived in the valley 20 years and never had a house with so many spiders and earwigs inside. 3 nights and was in the house mainly for just sleeping and saw over 9 spiders not a fan. Couldn’t get anything to load with WiFi and had absolute zero service in town. So had to wait til I got home to write review. Usually places we stay have more detailed check out instructions and house instructions so was a little surprised. Also surprised I got the door code a month in advance?

We apologies for the issues during your stay but the person that booked the property didn't reach out once about anything during your dates. We would have happily tried to fix anything we could have. The check out instructions are detailed on the VRBO app. We have the house treated monthly for pests but the summer always brings a few more bugs as you know being from the valley. We thank you for staying with us and wish we would have known about your remarks before you left.

Perfect for a large family with multiple children. The comforters are thin so if you are a cold sleeper, bring thicker blankets. Make sure to bring your own toiletries to meet your needs. The property met our expectations and was what we needed for lodging.

Nice big home, with lots of room for a group. We used this as our stop to hanging lakes. There is a great restaurant 10 min walk Miners claim. The house was clean, and as depicted. The only negative is that 2 windows did not lock. It was a group of women on this trip, and I did not feel comfortable knowing I could not lock them

Upon arrival, we were pleasantly impressed. Everything was very clean, open and fresh. Lots of towels, perfectly made beds, nice and cool (it was 90* while we were there), a perfect house for a great vacation. Owners were very friendly and easy to get in touch with. Special added features made our stay extremely memorable. Keurig coffee maker with assorted k-cups and to go cups for early morning outings was a great surprise. When we return to the Silt area, we will definitely be staying at Hook & Hunt! Thank you to our hosts for a wonderful stay! Highly recommended by our tribe of 7!
