We enjoyed our stay at the bay cottage! It was under 20 minutes to all the places we wanted to visit! You must check out the sunsets that are just down the street on The Delaware Bay. The place was clean and had everything we needed as our base camp for adventures. The host's communication was good and the place was as described.

Stayed for 4th of July weekend & was a perfect weekend getaway! Close enough drive to the beaches if you needed to go to wildwood or cape may! House was very clean & host was easy to contact if needed!

At first we weren't sure about staying back from the beach, but we found the Villas to be a delightful area with a small town feel and very convenient to all of the traditional shore attractions. While the distance to the Bay was not walkable for us, a short drive down the street took you to the most lovely, uncrowded beach on the Delaware Bay, with rolling dunes and the same beach feeling as any Atlantic beach. There were several mom and pop type eateries in the area, as well as plenty of stores and businesses. Being able to bring both of our dogs ( a rarity with most vacation rentals ) was the icing on the cake. We would definitely come back, and can say with confidence that anyone staying at Cape Bay Cottage will not be disappointed.

We absolutely loved being here! It was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a perfect getaway. You can tell a lot of care was put into making it feel like a home away from home. We had such a relaxing time and would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay with the puppies at the cottage. Very clean, cozy had everything you need for your stay. Close proximity to wildwood where the puppies enjoyed the beach doggie park. As well as close to town of Cape May, restaurants, Congress Hall, beach and boardwalk. Looking forward to visiting again. Thank you for hosting us.

This was our 2nd stay at Cap Bay Cottage. It is perfect for two adults and a small dog. Huge back/side yard, so neighbors on one side are not too close. Short walk to beach (.4 miles). Quiet neighborhood.

My new favorite place

Cape Bay Cottage is a perfect spot for a relaxing beach getaway. Two adults and one pup found the cottage cozy and super clean! The location is convenient to the bay side beach and a short drive to Cape May. The owner takes extra care to make sure her guests are comfortable!

We absolutely loved our 3-night stay at this rental—it was cozy, clean, and full of charm. Being able to bring our dog made it even more special, and we’re so grateful to the host for accommodating all of us. The back patio was perfect for relaxing, the record player added a fun vintage touch, and the house was spotless throughout. Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish. Wonderful getaway with my husband and son. The cottage was everything we needed for a quick 2 night stay. While I love that it is a dog friendly place, we did not love having to constantly clean dog hair off of us. If I could give 4.5 stars I would, but that was the only downside. Super close to the beach and close to many restaurants we were able to enjoy. And the neighborhood was peaceful at night, which was perfect for us.

Short and sweet getaway

It was our first time for my family and I to go away for Memorial Day weekend and we thought— why not go down the shore at Cape May? Fortunately I was able to find this property available. Diana, the host, was always so helpful and communicative with questions and such. The place was quaint and cute and very clean. 10/10 would book again. It’s absolutely perfect for a small family or a couple with a dog.

Clean n close to Bay

The place was clean. Close to the bay. I have a visual impairment so not many steps. The listing stateed of whirlpool tub. No tub a nice shower which was a bonus I would highly recommend Cottage Bay!
