Incredibly Plush meets Amazingly Priced!

When I think back to my childhood home, I can say with certainty that my favorite room was the den. It wasn’t a big space, but every inch of it contained the most interesting relics. Books, pictures, family heirlooms and the most comfy furniture were all there to nestle in. With that said, The Den is the perfect name for this ultra comfortable and incredibly convenient two bedroom townhome. Interesting and tasteful décor complimented with antiques will tempt you to relax and retreat inside, but with all of the available onsite amenities and scenery, nature will be calling you to step outside and play. Year-round enjoy easy access to everything Canaan Valley has to offer. Summer visitors will love the outdoor pool, picnic pavilion and volleyball facility. In winter it is a quick drive to the slopes, tube park or ice skating rink. Any time of year, enjoy free WIFI, cable TV and long distance calling. We invite you to visit Canaan and settle into The Den.

Great Stay @ Canaan

Just returned home from our stay at Canaan & it was wonderful. Unit was clean, nice, and well stocked. Can’t beat the location either. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Den. The cozy decor was perfect for our five-day stay in Canaan. The kitchen was well-equipped and the updated bathrooms were perfect for the two of us. Appreciated the cable TV as well as excellent Wi-Fi service so working remote was not an issue.

Love “The Den”

This is the only place we stay in Canaan Valley! This year was extra special as it snowed the entire time. The Den is beyond equipped for preparing meals and the winter weather! We will definitely be back!

Great spot!

Loved this little condo in the perfect location. The back deck was so nice to hang out on in the near perfect temps. Great access to a nice pool and played some tennis as well. The condo was well equipped with everything we needed. Loved the little towns of Davis and Thomas, and a nice drive to the Alleghany Highlands bike trail.

Perfect Place for a Ski Trip Getaway!

We had a wonderful time at this cozy spot in Deerfield Village! The amenities were outstanding, and the kitchen was perfectly equipped for cooking. The location was extremely convenient - less than 10 minutes to where we were skiing - and the rooms and living area were spacious and comfortable for our group of four. We had a great time and would return in a heartbeat!

Comfy and cozy

We stayed last week to enjoy watching the leaves begin to change colors. With OOVID we have been really careful when traveling and like the VBRO concept. The "den" as they call it was perfect. We enjoyed several fires (we couldn't keep the wood burning -- perhaps it was wet). I made several complete meals with the pans and utensils provided in the lovely kitchen; and the king size bed gave firm support. The host provided big cushy sparkling white towels that were perfect after a wonderful shower in the master suite!

We were extremely pleased with the location of the rental and all of the amenities provided to the guests by the owners. The home is very beautifully furnished and less than 10 mins from all the skiing activities. The weather was not as wonderful, unfortunately, with torrential rain during a good part of the trip. The Den was very comfortable for staying indoors to read and watch football. For any first time travelers to the area, we were told that we were a little early for the skiing season there.
