House and Toes in the SAND. No cars on this beach area! Vacation of a lifetime!

Once Upon A Tide is one of the houses that still sits in the sand, Beach Front on the Pedestrian Beach. There is nothing but sand & the waters edge. The location is ideal as it sits on a quiet area of the beach that does NOT allow cars and is within blocks of convenience stores, restaurants, sightseeing and shopping. The house is a four bedroom / 3 bath house that has all the modern amenities and supplies condiments, personal soaps and hair care and cleaning products. The property has a large kitchen that looks out over the water along with the Dining Room Area and Living Room. Pet Policy: If you love dogs like us, you are more than welcome to bring up to 2. We ask that pets stay off all furniture, are cleaned up after in the yard, and aren't left alone inside the home unless in a crate or kennel. Please message us if planning on bringing your furry friend to Surfside! Pets are welcome at this home. 2 pets max. w/ a non-refundable pet fee. (ask if additional pets are allowed).

Fantastic stay. Literally everything was there, like you're just sharing a home. Towels, beach toys, even sunscreen in a pinch. Everything was easy and the agency and owner were responsive.

Great time at Surfside Beach

Beautiful house with all the amenities we needed. We had 4 adults and 3 children under 10. Lots of toys for the beach. Everything we needed was in the kitchen. Close to stores so quick and easy to get groceries. Plenty of space for everyone. Loved that it was right on the beach. We didn't have to cross any roads or cross any dunes.

At Beach Resort Services, we are more than just a vacation rental company—we are a small, family-owned and operated business with deep roots in Surfside Beach. Our story began in 1957, when our parents stopped in Surfside to fish after their honeymoon in Galveston. What started as a weekend getaway soon became a lifelong tradition, leading to summers spent here as a family before finally making Surfside our home in 1976.

In 1992, our mother and founder, Catherine, who had been managing properties with Brannan Realty since 1976, took over as property manager for 13 homeowners in need—and that’s how Beach Resort Services was born. Since then, we have continued to grow, but we have never lost sight of what makes us special—family, tradition, and a passion for helping others create unforgettable beach memories.

Today, Beach Resort Services is run by a dedicated team of three—Denise, Drew, and Hope—who work tirelessly to provide exceptional service, trustworthy management, and a personal touch to every guest and homeowner we serve.
