Lovely property near the lake! Very cozy but large enough to accommodate our family. Fully stocked with everything you need. The owner checked in on us several times to see if we needed anything. Would definitely book again!

Great place!

We stayed five days here for our annual Sister's Trip and had a wonderful time! The home was so beautiful and the beds were so comfortable that we almost hated to get up to go anywhere! Holly was a wonderful hostess too!

Awesome stay!

We really enjoyed our time at Holly’s place. It was spacious and worked very well for our family. Would definitely recommend it. The communication with Holly was awesome. Having coffee on the back and front porches were a highlight.

Lovely and comfortable house, fully equipped, and Holly is a gracious host. Comfortable space. Deer in the field down the street, quick walk to the water (which is view of the house,) a wild turkey mom and her yound adult children walking in front of the house in the mornings. Definitely NOT suburbia! Our ONLY issue is the inconsistent WiFi. If you plan to work here or WiFi is essential, this isn't the property for you. If that's not essential, this home is great!

Very nice home with plenty of parking for our truck, trailer and motorcycle. Home is nicely decorated and well stocked (think Pampered Chef). Huge master bedroom has a comfortable king bed and its own AC unit! Skylight in master bedroom so if one likes to sleep in may want to bring an eye mask. Nice bathrooms with thick fluffy towels. Holly was very responsive & great to deal with. Beautiful sunsets across the bay.

Wonderful Stay!

The house and hospitality was unrivaled! Our host communicated with us to make sure we had ecerything we needed and enjoyed our stay. The house is in a good location. It's quiet, and a short drive from several sites throughout the peninsula.

We had a wonderful stay. Beautiful home and Holly, the host was great. Plenty of room for a family of six. A short drive to Sturgeon Bay and away from the touristy areas of Door County. Also a short drive to Green Bay.

Lovely getaway

My sisters and I get together every year to visit, catch up and enjoy some activities together. This house was perfect for time together, to make some simple meals and to enjoy the beautiful area of Door County. The house was exceptionally clean, comfortable and spacious enough for 5 women. Our host was welcoming and attentive. She even left fresh cookies for us!

Cute home, great host!

My friends and I took a break from grad school to spend a girls weekend at this home, and it was delightful! The views on the lake were stunning, the host was communicative, friendly, and beyond sweet. The property was spotless, adorably decorated, and very spacious for our group of 5. However, it is about 15min away from downtown Sturgeon Bay so you will have to drive if you want to go to bars or shops.

Fall Getaway

Property was very nice. Hostess was incredible to work with. Home is rather far from Sturgeon Bay but worth the drive. Kitchen is one of the best stocked kitchens I have ever seen in a VRBO rental. Very quiet with little traffic. Only thing I would point out for those who cannot do stairs is the third bedroom is on the second level. If we travel to Door County again, would definitely stay here. Thanks Holly for everything and for the delicious cupcakes!

Peaceful and Tranquil Stay

We loved Holly’s house! We had the pleasure of meeting her before we left and she goes above and beyond with pleasing her guests. We have stayed in a lot of rentals and as my husband told me when leaving this was one of the best so far! Holly has thought of everything for her well stocked kitchen. So many spices, olive oil, cooking utensils and dishes. There was even ice cream we helped ourselves to! I can’t say enough good things. We loved being out from the busy areas of Door County. We enjoyed driving through the beautiful countryside & only a 15 minute drive to Sturgeon Bay. We would definitely book again if we come back.

A comfortable and relaxing home to enjoy in Door county!

We chose this location for our Memorial Day weekend stay. Initially, we considered hotels/resorts, but since it was our first visit to Door County with our infant, we opted for a home stay. We were delighted with our discovery. Our 20-month-old was so content that leaving was the last thing on their mind. The check-in process was straightforward – the host provided clear instructions and made sure we settled in that night. Upon arrival, the place felt like home. It was immaculately clean, and the beds were comfortable. The well-equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare warm drinks for us and the baby. Additionally, the host prepared the best cupcakes, I have tasted in last few years, for Memorial Day. The location was conveniently close to all Door County attractions, with Cave Point County Park and Peninsula State Park less than a 45-minute drive away. Although we couldn't spend much time outdoors due to the insects, which I attribute to the constant rain, we plan to return with friends. This place can comfortably accommodate 8 people, if not more.

Beautiful home on a quiet road

We stayed at this property for our first trip up to Door County. It is located in Sturgeon Bay on a quiet street with other residences nearby. It's on the opposite side of the water, but you can see the water from outside of the house (and access it down the road). The house is so spacious ane woule have fit us plus 6 other guests. There's a beauriful upstairs master bedroom with an ensuite bathroom/shower, and two lovely bedrooms and a bathroom downstairs as well. Holly was such a kind, communicative, generous hostess, and we are fortunate to have stumbled upon her well-maintained, beautiful, and spacious home. If you're coming from a big city like we did, the only thing I'd recommend being aware of is the fact that this is a more remote property where stores and amenities like gas, restaurants, and essentials will be at least a 20 minute or more drive to get to. And if you drive back any time past 8:45, it will be dark and you'll need to use your brights as you traverse the roads. You'll encounter beautiful wildlife, nature, and serenity at this property. Do not miss out!
