Wonderful Spot

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family stayed at Sunrise Beach for a shorter fall break getaway and loved it all. Even though there was some construction/ maintenance going on during our stay, we barely noticed. Wonderful views from the higher floors, great pools, and amazing service for beach chairs and umbrellas. We'll for sure be visiting again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we really enjoyed our family vacation. The location was great, close to restaurants and shopping. The only things I would suggest is more dish clothes and hand towels for the kitchen. The condo was very clean, but the cleaner they used had a very strong aroma and it took a good 24 hrs for the smell to clear out.

sunrise beach resort stay 2210

overall location is really good but lots of traffic on a daily basis during stay (early June). condo was clean, except one trash can had not been emptied, but otherwise its very well-maintaned room and nice property with easy access to the beach and a few restaurants within walking distance. The beach chairs and umbrella that are included are a nice touch. easy check-in/out process and getting a hold of property management for non-emergency assistance during open hours was easy and they were very helpful and professional. only bad thing is I can note is not enough toilet paper was made available during our stay and we had to buy some. but our next rip to pcb I would definitely recommend this place and would happily stay there again.

Going back to Florida for a second trip, because the first didn't work out

When my family and I first walked into the condo, it was huge! The pictures did not do justice for what the condo actually looks like. It was way more spacious than I could have imagined, and it was a beautiful condo. The view of the Gulf was incredible, from both the living room and master bedroom. Unfortunately for us, that's where the view ended. The building itself was under minor renovations (painting the outside), and it just so happened that they were painting all the floors that ended in "10" and "11", so we did not have access to balcony during the entire stay. I should not let it go unsaid that Joe (owner) was not expecting this and he did give us a partial refund due to the inconvenience. In addition to the balcony incident, 1 of the pools was closed for the entire stay. So that meant 1 pool for the entire condo, which was always crowded and was rough to find open chairs together. There was a hot tub, but people were packed like sardines at all times, so I can only assume there was water in there, and that people weren't just sitting in an empty cement bowl. The first time we cooked in the unit, the first 5 cooking utensils I grabbed were greasy with food all over them. No biggie, I threw them in the dishwasher and grabbed some other utensils from the drawer, there were plenty to choose from. I also stepped on an old cheesy macaroni noodle in the living room, we did not eat macaroni at all while there. The washer and dryer sucked. We brought tide detergent and there was always white residue on all of our clothing when taking it out of the washer. The dryer would have to go through three entire cycles before the clothes were mostly dry. Finally, I complained enough to my husband that he went and took a look and removed the vent from the wall and had to remove a TON of sand which was preventing the clothes from drying. I don't know how many people wash clothes on vacation, but if the feature is advertised it should be functioning properly. If the balcony was open for use, it would have been 4 stars. If the washer/dryer malfunction and minor cleaning mishaps didn't exist in addition to the balcony being available, it'd be 5 stars. Joe is a great owner, he wants his renters happy from what I could tell the couple of times we talked on the phone due to the balcony issue. He tried his best to rectify the situation. It just was a disappointing trip overall (weather played a role), so we will be visiting Florida again in August.

The linens where dirty. blankets and comforter did not smell like it has been washed. I was not notify of the remodeling in the building. One of the two pools was close due to remodeling. Our balcony was full of dirt/dust every day and the noise was bad too. Some of the dishes where not clean. I did contact the manager never got a response

Cooling issue

The guest bedroom was missing vent return and was taoed up. This room and the bunkbed bedroom was too hot. When we arrived the master bedroom toliet was leakjng. I immediately reported it but maintenance didnt show up. My husband stop the leak but yhe toliet would run on and off the whole visit. We never heard from maintenance after reporting it.

Awesome condo in great area

We had a great experience. No problems. Balcony and view of ocean was awesome. So close to Pier Park and great places to eat. Beach chairs included was a great bonus, so easy to get to beach with carrying anything. Condo was clean and had everything we needed. No problems checking in or out. Great experience.

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Owner charged an additional 4% after booking through VRBO. Sure it's in the very fine print, but the total charges as listed through VRBO will not be accurate. Beware. And then Emerald Coast Destinations claimed the 4% had to be sent via card only. No checks.

Great place, just had a few headaches over parking.

We were never emailed for our parking pass registration, so upon arrival we go to the lobby and the women in the office were very rude and said they could not help us, I then called the property management company who tried all they could on a Saturday to help us but with the unit being so new under them they needed to contact HOA. So our cars were parked in a parking garage from Saturday to Monday before we had it all figured out. We did get parking violation warnings even though we talked directly with security about the issues not being our fault. Overall the staff at the sunrise beach condominiums made our stay not feel so much like vacation and more like we were begging for anyone to help us.

Girl's Trip

The condo was absolutely beautiful! Very spacious and everything was as listed. Condo has everything you need and more and the view from the balcony was awesome. Our girls trip consisted of me, my mother, my sister, my daughter and my daughter's friend and we could not have picked a better place to stay. The owner is amazing too, always quick in replying to messages and sent us our full check-in info well in advance so we were completely prepared. Will definitely be staying here again.
