Love it!This was a different experience for me and my boyfriend.Love the outdoor shower and area.Would recommend it to anyone that’s looking for a getaway.
So clean, cute and just perfect for our party of 2 (2 adults and one 11 year old). Super convenient to lots of hiking, touristy things and waterfalls galore! Karen and Kevin will definitely see us again!
The location is perfect. The outdoor shower is amazing and it’s nice to slow down and cook outdoors while enjoying the sounds of the creek. We will be back!

It was so beautiful and relaxing there, I loved the cabin, it was so cozy and clean. The outdoor shower was a dream. We will most definitely be coming back. Thank you Karen and Keith!!!
Stayed here with my two 9 year old boys, we loved it! cozy cabin, awesome property to explore when we were tired without having to load up again. Keith, the host, is super responsive, as well. Outhouse is about as charming as an outhouse can get, and the outdoor shower/sink is a great addition, too! Perfect combination of homey comfort with a touch of camping vibe tossed in to make the kids feel like it's an adventure! Will definitely be back!
Enjoyed this place. Everything is tastefully arranged, clean and week kept. One suggestion...it would help to have some reflectors marking the entrance to the property. Hard to make it out when arriving at night.
This was such a fun experience in small-town South Carolina! The property is extremely well kept, and the cabin itself is very comfortable despite its cozy size… we would definitely stay here again! For anyone unfamiliar or wary about a compost outhouse, I can assure you this one is quite pleasant, which was greatly appreciated. My only caution to other travelers would be that this property is right off a frequented 2-lane highway. It quiets down at night, but is popular during the day. Don’t bother us, but it’s not always “peaceful”. Would recommend giving this cute little place a try!
We loved Creekside Cabin! It was one of the best home away from homes I've ever experienced. It was set up perfectly to give you the ultimate camping experience and privacy, but not completely isolated. The whole area around the cabin was so beautiful, peaceful, and just really refreshing. We loved the gazebo with the awesome wood table for dining and the cabin itself is roomier than you expect. There was so many lovely sights to see and not far at all. Our toddler loved Wildcat Branch Falls, which was a literal mile away from the cabin - perfect hike, lots of big rocks to hang out on and cool down spot - shallow for the kiddos. Jones Gap State Park was one of the most beautiful areas I have explored and just a real good experience. This little cabin is just in the perfect spot - good places to eat nearby and an Ingles not far away to get the good stuff for the grill and wood stove that is provided. There is a real nice lake within walking distance right near the cabin and the walk is so pretty - shaded by trees the whole way. The people are real nice around the area and just the perfect stay for some upgraded camping/exploring life.
The ultimate shoutout to Keith who was so kind, fun to talk to and really accommodating during our stay - he was super responsive and informative about the area and we really appreciated the check in a few days into our stay.
We definitely want to come back at some point and miss the little cabin already.

It was such a pleasure hosting Jordan, James and Little Jack for a week stay at our cabin. They were awesome guests, we had great communication throughout their stay! I love that they used our space as it was truly designed, a base camp to rest, relax, work (James spent time working while here) and in their spare time they were able to explore the area! We can set up the cabin space for one desk so if you work remotely this could be a great spot for you. Jordan and her group left our place spotless, and we really appreciate that. We can't wait to see them again for another stay in the future. Life is Good, especially at Creekside Cabin!
