Amazing experience

Our stay was perfect! House was super clean, everything worked great, beds were super comfy, and all of the amazing conveniences were exactly what we wanted when we booked this location. Highly recommend this spot and hope to return soon. Thanks for an amazing stay!

Convenient Location

This property was easy to locate and very convenient. Lots within walking distance including sunsets, restaurants and shops. Plenty of room for our two teens to spread out and a couple of spots to sit and enjoy the morning sun outside.

Fun CdM location

Great location for walking around CdM and going to the beach. Four bedrooms gave everyone space. Easy to check in and out. Plenty of towels and nice linens. We would stay there again!

The location is great. Easy access and quiet. The house was clean … but the fixtures (bathroom cabinets, the jet tub in the primary, and the inside of the bedroom dressers are in need of deep cleaning and/or paint). The toilet in the primary also needs repair. If you like soft pillows … bring your own. All in all, a good experience that could have been fantastic!

Property was spacious, well located near shops and restaurants, and hosts tried to be friendly and helpful by text. But it smelled of mildew, was poorly maintained (torn front screen door, peeling paint, noisy toilet, overly soft beds, broken sink drain stopper, sheets left in dryer, insufficient towels and silverware for eight guests), noisy being across from shopping center, took a half hour of phone calls to get text with access code until, lacked usual folder with wifi and checkout information, and other oddities.

This was the perfect place for my colleagues and me. The location is amazing—walking distance to coffee shops, CDM State Beach, grocery stores, consignment shops, and great spots for lunch. It’s also an easy drive to Crystal Cove, Newport Beach, and other nearby attractions. The check-in/check-out process was seamless, and the home was clean and stocked with all the necessities. HIGHLY recommend!

A Family Wedding Trip

The property was great and accommodated 6 adults comfortably! I wish there had been basic amenities like sugar and maybe a little coffee to get us going. However, Shopping was very convenient ! There was a problem with the a/c but Hank was very responsive. Was surprised at a surcharge to check in early ! I would recommend this property for a large group.

We did not have a great experience with this property. The pros: it was very clean and the bedding and linens appeared of good quality. However, this home was very beat up inside: doors coming apart, broken fridge shelves, cracked faucets and a loose stair railing to name a few issues. For the price and the upscale neighborhood, this was very unexpected.Our biggest issue was that we arrived having rented a home with AC (during unprecedented heat in October) to find the air off and the home 85 degrees downstairs and at least 5 degrees warmer upstairs. In CA humidity, it was unbearably hot inside. There are no fans. After running the AC for 4 hours, it only cooling down 2 degrees, being 10pm we quickly rented a hotel for our family of 6 for the night. The AC did finally cool the home down by morning.We tried the phone number for the management company but they were closed(Sat 6pm.) We reached out to Vrbo as well for help (which I’ve never done in 20 years of using Vrbo). The management company did offer us a full refund for our stay which should be processing. This doesn’t compensate us for the extra price of 2 hotel rooms (which were much more expensive than the home per night) nor the huge hassle of spending the first 24 hours of our vacation on the phone for hours with Vrbo and trying to find a new place to stay for the week. When you know you’re in an extreme heat wave, and someone has rented and is checking into a home, you should make sure it is habitable.
