Great Location and Host!

Our family had a wonderful vacation at this property. The rooms were all very clean and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The description in the listing was accurate. It was a simple 10-minute drive to get to the Ocean City beach and boardwalk. We would definitely recommend this rental to others

House was found in clean condition and as pictured. All appliances worked well and kitchen was well stocked with dishes and utensils. We had plenty of towels and sheets included. The dining area was small and hard to seat six at the table, so family meals were difficult. Communication with owner was prompt. Beach tags were a fabulous amenity. We enjoyed the grill and fire pit. The back deck was a great spot in the evening as it was shaded from the sun.

This is not luxury by any means. The house is on a main road and so is the master bedroom so it is difficult sleeping. The guest bed is lumpy and crappy. There is no access to CNN or Fox News. My husband saw a roach on his folder. There are no storm doors so when a fly gets in, you are stuck with flies. The window shades in the house do not go up so you are stuck with no natural light in the house except for the bathroom. The living room furniture is unbearably uncomfortable. When you sit outside you are staring at an empty above ground pool filled with 5 foot weeds. Disgusting. When we went to take out the trash, there were 3 trash cans overflowing with trash. Slum like . I would find another place to rent. Renter beware.

This guest is requesting a refund after abandoning the property without notice and without reporting any issues during their stay. After walking her through how to use a smart thermostat and informing her that WIFI was provided but no cable was included in the amenities, she felt it unacceptable to spend her vacation without Fox or CNN. Two days later she left the property without allowing us an opportunity to resolve any legitimate issues. Property Condition Verified Before and After Stay - The home was professionally cleaned and inspected prior to the guest’s arrival. - The guests staying immediately before and immediately after this reservation left positive reviews confirming the property was clean, accurately described, and well‑maintained. - The township has inspected the property within recent months, and it passed without issue. Claims Made in the Review Are Factually Incorrect The guest’s review contains multiple statements that do not reflect the actual property: - No above‑ground pool exists on the property nor are there weeds of the nature described. - The yard is professionally maintained weekly and includes a deck, fire pit area, and fenced yard. - Furniture is new, purchased from reputable retailers, and in excellent condition. - Motorized window shades are installed throughout the home and fully functional. - The listing clearly states Free Wi-Fi and four smart TVs, not cable channels. Cable news networks are not listed as amenities. - Trash service is weekly; containers may contain bags prior to pickup, which is normal and consistent with the service schedule. Trash pickup is Wednesday the day after the guest exited the property. We maintain: - Professional cleaning records - Video evidence from the cleaning crew showing the property’s condition before and after the stay. Guest Left the Property in Poor Condition The cleaning crew documented damaged and missing linens. These issues resulted on additional costs. Conclusion The guest abandoned the property without notice, did not request assistance, and made claims inconsistent with the actual condition of the home. I encourage new travelers to look at reviews from other travelers, or reach out to me directly for a walkthrough before you book.
