About this property
Renovated biscuit box style home. Located centrally to the best attractions.
Located on a private lot with beautiful ocean views this 1900’s biscuit box style Newfoundland home was recently renovated for modern day comfort.
The area is quiet and the community friendly.
It’s conveniently located centrally to all local tourists attractions or you can whale/iceberg watch right from the front veranda.
The local wharf is just a 5 minute walk away where you’ll get to see local fishermen come and go with their catch.
Just minutes away from restaurants, walking trails, historic towns and beautiful beaches to explore you’ll get the full Newfoundland experience. The town water supply is from a community well that is tested often for safety. It has a mild discolouration that may cause discolouration on white clothing. It is safe to shower and wash with. Use your own discretion for washing laundry. I use it to wash laundry that isn’t a pure white. I have provided a water dispenser in the kitchen area with water to drink, cook and brush your teeth. There will be an extra bottle but if you need more I will provide refills on request. To find us you’ll need to use the address 17 route 235 with Newmans Cove in the search bar of google maps. Be sure to include Newmans Cove along with street address. We are located on route 235 in the community and I’ve placed signage roadside to help you find the house. You can use gps coordinates 48.5881731, -531930418 as well

Check-out instructions
The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher

Only couple things I’d really appreciate. Put towels in laundry hampers provided, collect all garbage from bathroom pails and kitchen bin and place down in one bag and tie securely.
Place garbage and recycling in mudroom.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

About the host
Hosted by Sheila

I live in Newmans Cove. Moved here 12 years ago and have loved every minute of it.
In summer I enjoy hanging out on the beaches, hiking in around the hills with my two dogs, berry picking, fishing, biking and kayaking.
Winter is just as fun with snowshoeing, hiking, ice fishing, boil ups in the woods and sitting around a fire.
I decided to host because I wanted to open Newmans Cove up to people and have them enjoy this beautiful community.
