Just minutes away from downtown Ohiopyle, PA, this rental property is an ideal retreat for the family that loves a great adventure getaway.

Are looking to visit Fallingwater, Kentuck Knob, hunt, fish, ski or snowboard or just make memories with your kids? This lodge offers a convenient and indulgent way to take in all that the Laurel Highlands and Ohiopyle area has to offer.

Relax or read a book in a cozy environment that is perfect to sip hot cocoa while the grandparents make wonderful memories with grandkids. Enjoy the fireplace or your favorite TV show with our expanded cable in the comfy sectional in our living room. Young kids and adolescents alike will enjoy the super fast, high speed WiFi/Internet through the house while they stream their favorite app or game.

The oak wooded lot is quietly beautiful in any season and is minutes away from Pa-best trout fishing and deer hunting. Spring, summer or Fall the private back deck is an ideal place to serve family style dinner. Then, take a relaxing dip in the hot tub and watch the canopy of stars come out at night.

The Lodge boasts a large king bedroom located off the living room with easy access to the private deck. Another 1st floor bedroom is ideal for kids with a loft style bedroom with two single beds tucked away underneath. A loft bedroom with two twins (can combine for a king). All together, the lodge comfortably sleeps 8 guests. It's perfect for a small or multi-generational family that enjoys the a quiet getaway, outdoor lifestyle and just being away with each other.

THIS PROPERTY IS LOCATED AT APPROXIMATELY 2300 FEET ELEVATION. WE DO PLOW; HOWEVER, GUESTS SHOULD HAVE A 4WD VEHICLE TO STAY HERE FROM NOV 1-MARCH 31!

Security:

For the safety of our guests and the protection of the property against criminal activity, all guests understand that, at a minimum, there is a “Blink” security camera type located at the front and rear entrance of the cabin to monitor access/egress and driveway areas. Security cameras are in use 24 hours a day/7 days a week.

Guests should not remove, disturb, modify or damage any part of the onsite security system. IF this occurs it will result in the loss of security deposit or added charges, whichever applies.

My wife and I have a large family of seven kids. Our Turning Leaf Lodge is a cozy, get a way for our family to play, rest, and enjoy all the Ohiopyle area has to offer.

Why they chose this property

About 20 years ago, I worked and lived in the Ohiopyle area. In the late 1990's, I purchased this cottage and enjoyed living there immensely until a job change required that I move away. My wife and I kept the place as a 2nd home. As our family has grown and our kids have gotten bigger, we love to retreat from the city to our Turning Leaf Lodge!

What makes this property unique

There is so much to do in the area and it definitely varies depending upon to whom your talking to at our family. My wife loves Fallingwater, Kentuck Knob, shopping the quaint stores in downtown Ohiopyle. I love being minutes away from idyllic trout stream fishing and deer hunting. Our boys love short hikes off the property, sledding Ohiopyle State Park's Sugar Loaf Hill, as well as bowling and arcade games at Nemacolin's Wild Side or skiing at Mystic Mountain. So, much to do for an active family
