Wonderful stay! The lake view was just what we were looking for in a Fall getaway. Each day spent outside in the perfect fall weather on the deck relaxing. The kitchen is fully equipped and made all our home cooking delicious. The beds were comfortable and we all slept like rocks. Each evening we had a fire out at the fire pit and star gazed. Check in and out were effortless, Vicky was excellent at communication and only a text away. Although it was too cold to swim we could see the shallow mostly sandy swim area would be perfect for hot summer days. Time to rethink what month we plan our next cottage getaway during. Thank you for sharing you gorgeous home with us.

Family getaway

Vicky was a wonderful host and the cottage was better than we had hoped. It was perfect for our family getaway. 10 minutes away from both Bobcaygeon and Fenelon falls with many hidden beaches and shops in the area. We are definitely planning a return trip.

It's a great property with lots of room and seating areas. We just felt the property could have been a little cleaner before our stay

Great Cottage

My family and I stayed at Vicky’s cottage and had the most amazing time. Vicky was very accommodating and check in process was easy. Location is beautiful and we were able to witness the blue moon over the lake and have great family pic with moon in background!! We will definitely be staying here again! 5 stars! Mark

Fantastic place to recharge the batteries

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cottage. The listing is accurate and detailed. The cottage is well appointed with everything one needs for a cottage stay and either Fenelon Falls or Bobcaygeon are just 10 minutes away. We would not hesitate to stay at this location again should we return to this area.

We had a great time at the cottage. The house is right on the water with an expansive view of the lake. The portion of the lake close to the dock is shallow and great for kids. The house itself is gorgeous with high ceilings, large windows with lake views, and a big kitchen. The host, Vicky, was very accommodating and very easy to communicate with. We definitely recommend the cottage and would like to revisit.

Beautiful Retreat

Met with 7 friends we’ve only known through Zoom…all knitters. Had a wonderful stay. Above and beyond fully equipped kitchen, BBQ. Beautiful location. There were a few burnt out lights, but we made it work. Thank you so much for opening up your place to us. Vera & The Flock Ewe Crew

Fantastic Stay, Highly Recommend

Our stay with Vicky and her property was fantastic. She is incredibly accommodating and transparent about the property and rules. She is very considerate and caring, which is reflective of her space. My only note is that some info on the listing (towel package prices and pet rules) needs to be updated, as there was some confusion via messaging. Other than that, I highly recommend staying at Vicky's space; it will definitely be considered for future trips.

Fantastic spot to get away and enjoy the lake. Was particularly impressed with how well stocked the kitchen is in terms of pots, pans, appliances... anything you need to make a great meal! Will be looking to come back here again!

Quiet Getaway
