Many past guests fondly called this gorgeous studio the "Honeymoon Suite" for its privacy and romantic atmosphere.
This approximately 600 sq ft studio loft is part of reputed boutique hotel, Inn St Helena. It sits on the 2nd floor above the garage with its private entrance at the back of the property. It has beautiful features such as a spa-like bathroom with steam bath, built-in queen bed and a lovely patio. This studio is offered as a self-service vacation rental here. The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped.
This studio is a beautiful, relaxing place to return to after a long day of wine tastings and incredible pairings. Soak in the large bath tub and turn on the steam or relax and have a glass of wine on the patio.
This studio is located near downtown St Helena, a short walk to restaurants, stores, coffee shops, and other wineries. I'm positive you'll love this studio as much as we do.

Cheryl, it was a pleasure having you at the Inn St. Helena earlier in January. We certainly hope that you will be able to come back to visit us sometime soon.
We had an outstanding time staying in St Helena am most importantly in this beautiful villa at the Inn of St Helena. Totally private and serene. This was a perfect place to stay to kick off my birthday trip. I hope we can come back.
Location, location, location. You can't get better than the Inn at St. Helena. Also, the people we interacted with at the Inn/venue were very nice. The breakfast was definitely made with love too. However, I just can't get past a couple of the cleanliness issues I had with the room. There were multiple spider webs that were hanging from the crown molding and the decor in the space. Also, the water bottles that were left in the room for us as guests were labeled with a sticker that indicated sealed for freshness and cleanliness. Well... I found the original instructions within the "how to clean" instructional paper within the FILLED bottle. I drank it and then found it... I didn't dye :) BUT still now even grossed out. Even with that said I would still stay at this location again. I just have to warn others... don't use the water bottles. Bring your own!

Hello Christina-
We appreciate your feedback and I have already brought the water bottle issues to the attention of the owners and our staff. We are making changes to ensure that doesn't happen again!
Noted about the spiderwebs- we will be cleaning those, now! :)
We would love to welcome you back whenever you are able!
Great location walkable to all the restaurants and coffee shops in town, many wineries close by east to drive or Uber to get there, easy check in, quiet and comfortable.
We booked out the entire Inn for our family for our wedding. It was so quaint and romantic it really was a magical time with the whole family there. It's peaceful, quiet, and extremely comfortable. The proximity to Main Street St. Helena and world class restaurants is phenomenal.
The rooms are incredible, clean and extremely comfortable. Naturally, four days of family events, dinners and the stress of coordinating an event with over 100 people can be chaotic but the Inn was a sanctuary of tranquility for the families, bride and groom.
Julie and Patrice are amazing and so tentative to a world class experience and every imaginable detail. We used the loft as the bridal party preparation center and everything we could have needed was there.
The breakfast provided daily (different each day) was worthy of comparison to some of the best culinary experiences in the valley.
If you are coordinating a large family event, I couldn't recommend more that you should just book the entire inn. It is one of the best lodging experiences I have had - and I have spent over 700+ days traveling the world at world class establishments and do not take that recommendation lightly.
Great property - walking distance to shops and grocery store. Julian was fantastic to work with and went above and beyond to share things to do in the area. We would definitely stay here again.
We had a great time at Inn St. Helena! The location was great - walking in to the downtime area was so easy and close. Everything was very clean and ready for us when we got there. Julian was there to greet us and had great recommendations! Would definitely revisit this place!
We went to St. Helena for our 20th anniversary. Our room and location was amazing! The cleanliness during COVID was top notch, and we didn’t have any issues while visiting. Highly recommended!
A perfect place for my wife and I during our 3 day visit to Napa Valley! The bed and linens were so comfortable, large kitchen and relaxing steam shower.
Absolutely loved everything. The description was spot on. Fun town and we walked everywhere. Super friendly! My first trip to California will definitely be back and stay here.

Perfect for our trip!
The inn is conveniently located with easy in and out parking! We loved the walkability. The room was comfy and had the kitchen and laundry amenities we needed. The pack n play for our little one was an added benefit! Very cute and would love to go back!

Comfortable, cool, clean and accomodating
This studio is a large, darling space on beautiful property, very centrally located, a block away from St. Helena's downtown shops and dining. We were guests at a wedding in town and the bride's family stayed in the main house (with 4 bedrooms) next door. This studio provided privacy for us, as did the main house for the bride's family.
Madeline, the innkeeper, was extremely helpful and friendly, and added pretty touches to the breakfast we had for the bridal party, making it more personal and appealing. She went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. We only had one breakfast here and it was great!!! Would highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful room.
Our room was great. Very comfortable and relaxing. Only issue was parking. Owners might want to limit number of cars that each room can utilize.

Thanks for the feedback, Robert. We have 8 parking spots for the 8 rooms, so maybe someone bought in additional cars. In any case, parking on main street is free and easy to find.

Comfortable, quiet, and convenient location!
The studio is located at the back of two houses that are both seemingly associated with the same B&B business (not sure), and up one flight of external stairs above a garage. Our stay was private; a key was left for us and we didn't have any interaction with anyone until we handed the key back at check-out. No B&B breakfast included with this unit.
Access is simple, there is a paved driveway between the two houses that leads to a small parking area. There is a key lock-box option at studio entry so that you don't have to carry your key, but we couldn't get that to work. The main house (not the studio) faces main street, which is a fairly busy, small 2-lane road during the day, but not busy at night and with this studio at the back of the property noise was NOT an issue.
The studio is clean and open, provides a full kitchen, and a small balcony that overlooks the rear patio of the house (but not the house itself) and you can see the parking area to the side. All windows provide nice coverings for light dampening and privacy. We found the bed to be very comfortable along with the pillows and sheets. We slept great once we figured the ceiling fan out. The steam shower is a neat feature, simple to turn on, and heated up the shower space in a hurry. The water temperature and pressure in the shower seemed a little finicky . . . I'm not sure if it related to usage in the main house or what. We ate out so didn't use the kitchen much, but it seemed to be well equipped and was good size.
Overall, we found this to be a good value, comfortable stay, and easy walk into downtown St. Helena. Very pleased. Several good restaurant and even vineyard tasting options within walking distance. St. Helena is a quaint, cute little town, but a sleepy one and shuts down fairly early even on weekends. We took Lyft (and Uber if we had to) everywhere including from the airport and didn't have any trouble getting from town to town, and vineyard to vineyard on our schedule. We found a wine shipping place very nearby the studio, but were a little shocked at pricing - you may want to explore that more ahead of time if you intend to ship wine home.
Suggestions:
Tip envelope for "housekeeping" is tacky when charging. No sign of housekeeping (which we didn't expect or want anyway) until the day before checkout when 2 fresh towels arrived. Just provide 4+ towels to begin.
A book or wall signs for functions (fans, remotes, shower, lock-box, thermostat).
