Great property- perfect location! We loved being able to be steps from the beach and also close to the bay. Loved walking the boardwalk and the space was perfect for our family with 3 separate bedrooms and 2.5 baths. Also a huge plus was having a garage even though it was a super tight fit for our full sized truck and SUV.

Great Location and Amenities!

Great location! The home was super clean and had everything that I needed. The garage was spacious and I was able to fit my 4Runner in with plenty of room to open the back and unload. I love that this is just a short walk to the beach and lots of restaurants and activities. I will definitely stay here again!

2024 New Year celebration

Had amazing time staying in Mission beach. This location is less than 10 min walk to Belmont park. Even though this is not a beachfront property the beach is 100 yards from the your front door. Offering plenty of privacy yet only a stone throw away from all type of entertainment. Had an amazing stay. Only minor complaint would be some of the cookware, dishes and cutlery was a bit dirty and required cleaning before us initially using it. Host was very attentive and easy to communicate with. Even allowing us to extend our stay with short notice, an additional day. Will most definitely be back!

Amazing Experience-MUST BOOK!

If you’re looking to visit San Diego and looking to have an amazing experience do not hesitate and book this place ASAP! Check-in process was easy, the place was clean and spotless, host was attentive and responds quickly, location of the home was perfect, toiletries/towels were stocked, and customer service was above and beyond. Also, to top it all off, our host was so amazing because my husband left his clothes in one of the drawers and he made sure to check in with housekeeping to make sure it was found and will be mailing back our items to us. Now I really do believe in good karma and there are good people in this world. Thank you again for the hospitality and for the amazing experience we had in your home.

Loved, loved, loved our stay here

We loved our stay here. We were just a few houses away from the ocean so the teens could come and go as they pleased to play in the water. The owner was very easy to get a hold of when we had a question. We appreciated how many towels there were and how well stocked the kitchen was with equipment (blender, coffee maker, cooking utensils, etc.). We loved using the bikes, boogie boards, beach chairs and umbrellas in the garage. The only downside was that the internet kept dropping and there was not enough shampoo, bath soap, or toilet paper. Jack and Jill bath light bulb is burned out.

Family Beach Vacation

The home was everything it said it was. It was very clean and comfortable. A nice short walk to the beach. Very easy check in and check out. We will defiantly come back again. The garage is for two cars. I would suggest two small cars. It was so nice having parking available because its very hard to find a parking space. Just for management information the bikes need a little repairing and the beach umbrella was broken. We only used one bike and the chain kept coming off. Just minor issues to otherwise a perfect spot for our family.

Disappointing but still fun

The property itself was ok, but we were very disappointed in the cleanliness. The carpet was very stained as were the white living room chairs. Ants were a problem and required us to keep all foods covered and put away. The showers were difficult to maintain temperature. TheTelevision was very difficult to operate with 4 different remotes and no instructions. One of the bicycles was unusable because the chain was rusted beyond repair. Because of the large cleaning fee and service charge for our dog we felt the house was way overpriced compared to other beach properties we have rented.

Great amenities, while some fell short

We loved the layout of the house- it worked great to have the bedrooms upstairs while living/kitchen/dining were downstairs. This way we could put the baby to sleep upstairs and not bother her while we had dinner conversations downstairs (we were impressed with the noise isolation as well). What didn't work so great was the crib that was listed to be included in the master was broken, and we didn't get a replacement until the last night. There was also no trash bags, paper towels, or dish sponge. These I'm sure were oversights that could be prevented for future stays. I recommend you double check amenities the moment you check in to prevent multi-day inconveniences. Finally, the AC isn't as strong so you'll want to leave it on for a while until it takes effect (especially upstairs). Other than that, would highly recommend this place for friends and family!

SCAM, FALSE ADVERTISING, DIRTY

This property is a scam. The 1st level outdoor seating area is not part of the property. The property management admitted to me that they have previously been accused of false advertising but those photos are good marketing and technically are of the same building so they continue to use them. In addition the air conditioning went out on day one of our stay. I complained via VRBO messenger of both issued and the company called me promising full refund of our night one stay if we agreed to keep the reservation. Because they called with their false promise and I don’t have record of it they are denying it. I recorded all of these issues within the app and via text message and they never responded until we left the property. They wouldn’t even answer their phone. I have spent 2+hrs on the phone with VRBO and will not stop escalating this until we are refunded. The person who had been calling me and promised a refund from the company magically “doesn’t work there anymore.” I hope the real owner of the property reads this because the property was filthy, many items broken, no toiletries, trash bags, dishwasher tabs provided. DO NOT STAY HERE or if you do contact VRBO on day 1 so they can step in. If you wait you can’t do much but wait on the phone for hours and hope VRBO does the right thing by stopping the scammers.

Great neighborhood! This condo was very cute and even better in person. Just a quick walk to the beach, Belmont Park, and many shops and restaurants. Best part was access to a garage! We moved the bikes/chairs/etc from the front over to the side so it would fit our XL SUV but it worked!! Would definitely return.

Good spot bad luck!!

Overall decently good experience since something unexpected happened. During my stay the sewage line was clogged and erupted in the public driveway. The fouled sewage smell spilled into the house and caused some problems with the house water systems. I contacted the owner and he replied immediately by sending someone out to check it. I wasn't sure if they fixed it or not, but the water was restored in the house. However, the smell of the sewage lingered for the duration of the stay so we planned accordingly to stay out in the day.

Home away from home

Absolutely loved our stay here while visiting mission beach this year. It felt warm, inviting, comfortable and like a home away from home while we were there. The location is perfect and walking distance from the boardwalk, shops and restaurants, and you an easily get to the beach or the bay. The bay was just slightly longer walk, but both within minutes! We gathered for a casual family reunion with everyone booking their own houses, and then meeting up at the beach and for dinners while there. And everyone commented on how nice our place was and wanted the info for it if they stayed here again! We had our 4 boys with us, and were able to order groceries in, made a few meals in the house each day, and ate out for dinners. Also loved the rainfall showerhead in the master, and how nice the bathrooms and bedrooms and jack and Jill bathroom was in the kids side of the house. It was so nice and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

Thanksgiving Gathering

After a long year of separation due to Covid we came together to celebrate Thanksgiving! Having lived in Pacific Beach I decided to rent in Mission. Couldn’t have picked a better location or nicer condo. It was very clean, comfortable and accept for wine glasses .. it had all we needed to prepare and serve our dinner. There is a two car garage that is a must when renting in the beach neighborhoods! I would love to stay here again and recommend it highly!

get away to cooler temps

Great location! Helpful to have a garage and a hose to wash off the sand before going inside. The decor was updated and very clean inside. I would have given all 5 stars but had two issues. The pictures on the site of the patios are very misleading. I rented three rooms and thought the ground floor patio was included...understood the top floor patio was ours but didn't realize their is a middle patio off dining room. Found out the ground floor patio goes with different property. The microwave didn't work and we had to stay in the rental to watch our belongings when we got a knock on the door the repair people were there to put a new one in...didn't get any notice of that. Overall though we had a wonderful time and would recommend this lovely home.

Jersey Court House

We had so much fun staying at this very nicely appointed duplex. We were upstairs, so had a smaller balcony rather than a patio. Plenty of room upstairs, lots of sleeping space. Lots of room downstairs with the kitchen/living area as well. We had a few appliance issues, but Mark was so prompt and had a repairman out there right away to fix everything. We would definitely recommend this property for a fun getaway at Mission Beach!

Family get away was lots of fun! Plenty of room for all six of us! Beach is just a few steps away.

Nice property & great location for a family. Lots of construction going on in neighborhood & street noise on Mission Blvd. were the only down sides. Home was a great size for a family (six of us) clean, but carpets were very worn. I purchased aluminum foil, ziplock bags, oil & seasonings to bring along. Plenty of towels for bath & beach (which is literally steps away!). Spent a day at the zoo, enjoyed beach walks daily, spa at Catamaran hotel & enjoyed dinner in La Jolla. We had a great time!

Fun family beach house

We loved this house for its convenience to all sorts of beach and restaurant fun without being directly on the crowded boardwalk. We were very disappointed to find that the ground level patio, pictured on vrbo, was not part of the deal & the only outdoor table for the family meals was weirdly off the master bedroom one floor up from the kitchen, but we made it work. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of gear but the knives need acserious sharpening. This house worked well for our crew of 9.

Perfect Location for Beach Vacation

The property is great. Everyone had an awesome time. The only negative was we had to throw out 4 bags of bagels, a package of sugar and brown sugar because of ants. It was apparent there was a problem before because of ant traps set out. So, just letting you know, as the owner may need to be aware. We had a great vacation at this property ! Thanks for allowing us the rental.
