Checked all boxes for our family vacation for family.Location perfect, Having own personal walkway to the beach was so easy. Outdoor pool was nice but not as user friendly because of weather. Elevator was lifesaver for ages 80- 1 year old! Living area was very nice, spacious. Separate bathrooms were awesome! Outdoor grill was very useful as well as indoor kitchen

This place had a bug problem. There were a large number of flies and gnats. In addition, we also saw some roaches, which were not great. The kitchen was not well stocked with cooking utensils, and they only gave you one trash bag and no paper towels for the week-long stay that we were there. The living room furniture was quite worn down. It was in need of replacement. On our first night, one of the windows blew out in the middle of the storm, which luckily we were able to replace ourselves, but for the price we paid that shouldn’t happen. Also, one of the rooms did not have electricity the first night, and we were unable to get a hold of someone to come fix that. The location was great. The rest of the property was amazing, with a great location to be on the beach. The elevator was great for our elderly guests who were in attendance.

Everything was very clean. Comfortable beds. All items needed for cooking were there. Lots of space. Chairs for beach and pool toys were great to have. Pool is heated which was great.Bring your own beach umbrella and be prepared for grass burrs as they are between the pool and beach so wear shoes. Otherwise great stay.

Host was very welcoming and accommodating. All questions were answered promptly. The property was exceptional. Very nice and clean. Large home that was perfect for a large family. Location next to the pier was also a plus. The elevator was also super helpful with my elderly father who was unable to navigate the stairs. Everything about this property was great. I highly recommend it.

Rented for 6 nights: 8/29-9/4/26-11,200 Home is oceanfront, beautiful, spacious and close to pier and lifeguard. The elevator was great for my disabled granddaughter & to get luggage and food from ground level up the 4 floors. But check in was bumpy waiting for home to be "released" to enter w/access code.Issues: Within 2 hrs. of arriving, we discovered we had absolutely no hot water anywhere in house; showers didn't work; 1 washer didn't work. Spoke to Jessica & then Heather (oper mgr.). Rec'd text: "we have a house a mile away, go over there to shower!" Drive 18 people to another house w/towels & toiletries in hand?!-no thx. Plumber came late Sun am-plumber-said he was there a mo. earlier fixing same problem & told owner he needed to replace water heater & he didn't want to replace. Wiring was rerouted & we did get hot water on Sunday.Owner planted sod in backyard & told us not to put sunchairs on sod. Didn't have access to backyard near pool area (nice pool). Went to go outside first evening by pool-sprinkler system went on & sprayed beyond sod & couldn't sit outside by pool from 8-10 pm. Requested that timer go on at midnight & we were ghosted by Heather for the rest of the week...no response to calls/texts. 2 arcade games didn't work/shuffleboard-minimal beads-not usable. Washer-scalding hot water-set on coldest setting; dryer only dried on timed setting; hose in back not secured. Told all w/b solved.Not offered any credit for our trouble. Unfortunate.

We were so impressed by the responsiveness of Baskaway, when we needed anything - they responded immediately and were at the house within 30 mins+. We HIGHLY recommend this house, it was a perfect location, and we had a prime view of the fireworks on the Cherry Grove pier.We will def use Baskaway for our next beach trip.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time at Serenity Hideaway, now for the second year in a row. The location can't be beat (right on the sand) and the amenities are great. A few small things I would recommend the owner fix (passed most of these on last year, but he/she did not make any changes, so now I'll do it publicly):1. The lawn is thin, gets mowed every 2 weeks, and is loaded with sand spurs. Just bite the bullet and sod it, or put in artificial turf. Either would be way better. We basically had to carry our kids over it to get to the beach because of the sand spurs.2. Something was up with the pool. Kept getting algae in it. Not sure the equipment is working properly, or perhaps the pool company isn't up to par. But it's not hard to keep a small saltwater pool algae-free.3. There are no black-out curtains in the whole house. This makes no sense to me. Put blackout curtains at minimum in all the bedrooms that face the ocean (4!) so that it's not bright as day before 6am all summer...4. For the price you pay, the living room furniture is pretty bad. Super lumpy and uncomfortable, basically every piece in there. Just get some new ones and that will go a long way. 5. Small things, just as an FYI for PM company: wifi really only works well on main floor. Doesn't work at all on top floor. Smoke detector is extremely sensitive. Goes off if you cook bacon even with the doors open :). The silver thing at the base of the stove falls off if you lightly touch it, and it's pretty loud when it does.
